I'd really like biomes to be larger... a snow biome and a desert biome at the same time doesn't look good.

There's a little backstory to this, when Beta 1.3 hit I saw I had a random untitled world. When I loaded up this world I spawned at the bottom of a missing chunk. Later after I had reached the top I caused all of the water to spill into the chunk for ease of access. [img]http://f.anyhub.net/24Ch[/img] Technically it's a natural formation but if you use the world seed the chunk isn't missing.

Lags pretty badly when lots of blocks are visible (like on a floating island map). The generating sometimes takes ages too.

My first set, made with the seed "31415926535897932384626433832795" and it has massive mountains and very dramatic landscape as well as a massive desert, which you can partially see in the second picture. It doesn't seem too impressive at the spawn, but you have to explore a bit to see everything. Other than that, it's just unremarkable hills and ocean.
