Yeah, I'd really like a source on this, because I don't believe it for a second. Not finishing their biggest series would be an absolutely ridiculous move.

It's kind of amazing that the show got made in the first place. The idea was first pitched to MTV back in the 90's, and the guy in charge of XD now is a friend who worked with Chris back then and offered to get the show on XD.
The show didn't get the ratings it needed to survive, but instead of canning it outright, they're airing the rest of season one (and only) Sundays at midnight. Probably a favor to Christ to get the rest of the episodes out, since God knows what ratings THAT slot is getting on a kids' channel.
It'd be interesting to see how they would make a game out of MEGAS. I'm excited though :)

This has amazing potential if done extremely well. Though it could also be terrible.

The easiest route would be some variant of a brawler or beat 'em up I reckon.
