Haha if you are a hunter being out DPS'd by a moonkin you are doing it wrong.
How does I shot better hunter then?
Pic related, a simplified version of my current shot rotation.

I've ommitted some of the more obvious stuff like, "Has Lock 'n' Load Procced", "Has Rapid Shots Procced" and "Is Rapid Fire on" because that would take looooong.
lol boomkins, every1 knows resto is where its at

in response to ur flow chart... hell it isnt even a proper flowchart
What is a proper flowchart then?
well for starters it has an end or a final output
Basically, target must be fully dotted and marked.
If target is fully dotted and marked, cast explosive and aimed shot.
Steady shot is the filler for when explosive and aimed are on CD.
Lock and load procs, explosive shot, wait until it tics off, explosive shot again, wait until it tics off then a final explosive shot. Sometimes pop an Aimed shot between the exlposives if it's off CD and there's enough L'n'L time to spare.
If Rapid Shots is on it's just a boost to overall DPS.
If I pop rapid fire, I can do additional stead shots between explosives and Aimed.

Mine doesn't because it's a loop.
That rotation is no more complicated than most classes.
All those little things like checking if a dot is up you've probably been doing since level 10 or something, and so has pretty much become a subconscious thing
So is my rotation alright?
What about my gear? Have an armoury:

lol Americans rating me bad spelling.
I'm not going to pretend to know how hunters work but moonkin are one of the lowest RDPS.
cba to link my armory but besides a few pieces I am full 232/245, got the (admittedly easy) rotation down, and gemmed/enchanged for SP and still pull less DPS then hunters, mages, and locks.
Maybe Im bad but my performance combined with the lack of moonkins (atleast on my server) makes me think that it may be a class issue and not a player one.
My younger brother is marginally better geared than me, purely because he has the time to patience to play every day for at least 2 hours.

I've seen a boomkin pull 6k dps in less ilevel than that.

How much younger is your brother? :v:

When the stars align (no pun intended) in a 25 man on a "regular" encounter I can hit 5k but I am usually around 4k.
I mean I didnt make my post looking for advice but if you have any, feel free to spill the beans. Like I said most of my gear is enchanted, its all gemmed, I have 2600sp unbuffed, the rotation (FF, maintain DoTs, wrath until Lunar, starfire until lunar wears off, wrath for solar, etc).
All that being said I will say again I see very few moonkins on my server (hell, battlegroup, I have seen ONE other moonkin when I was using the LFG tool) and those that I do see pull similar DPS to me.

Convinced my friend to RAF me instead of triple-boxing. This'll be fun.

He's a year and a bit younger than me. 2 school years. I don't actually know how old he is, but he's either 15 or 16. I'm 17, 18 in August 2010.
Have his armoury:

He has around 200 additional points at Wow-heroes.
How on earth can you not know how old your brother is?
How on earth can you not know how old your brother is?
I have a sister a year and a half younger than me and I still guess her age from time to time
How on earth can you not know how old your brother is?
That's what parents are for.
I'm so fucked when I move out for uni. Going to commute from home for my first year, then find some halls or an apartment after that.
