At a bump in Alch, only my meta gem transmutes and flask of the north give skill ups, I'm at 430...and my research is on CD for the next 2 days

Hmm, I'm at 336 JC, but there aren't any gems on the AH to level further, prospecting is beh.
Buying ore from the AH is often cheaper and easier than buying the uncut gems.
I was prospecting Fel Iron ore, 30g for 20 of them. Where as usually the gems are 2g for one. Doing the math, it does seem less expensive..
