if it is a lot better then yeah go for the better stats as long as its not hitting like 10x slower should be fine
New wep 2.60 speed
Old wep 1.50 speed
New wep every stats doubled even dps was doubled but lost 3 int.
I went with the slow wep. It was superiour in too many ways that the speed wasn't a problem.
And also now the Hammer of the Righteous is going to hit for much more

Most likely a paladin, the only other class, that I could think of would be a shaman. I'm also gonna assume he's not ret if he's switching from two hand to one hand.
