I found the video of the perfect city with 6 million Sims, the original got taken down though thank god for this douchebag, he made a shitty commentary of it:

Highly suggested you mute it.
That was hard to watch with the commentary. And thanks for the video, its a shame though.
Why was the other one taken down?
The airports that people make with Simtropolis are really amazing!

Indeed they are, I always like to drive commercial jet around City's. And I mean the BIG ones.
I am still trying to find my SimCity box, hmm
i like when you build a missile silo and it launches a missile and destroys the plane

It destroys your plane?...
No matter how many times I play through this game it's still insanely fun.

Time to mod the balls off this game.
Can anyone give me tips on balancing out my utilities bill? I always have like 9 water towers, and the drain funds like wildfire.
Can anyone give me tips on balancing out my utilities bill? I always have like 9 water towers, and the drain funds like wildfire.
Well, go for pumps after a while. Towers are a nice starter like say a windmill, but don't rely on them. Buy a pump and build up to catch up with it.

Ah, thanks. I also realized I'm a dumbass and kept building towers and windmills and forgetting that I could put in pipes and power lines.
The only thing that keeps me from playing Sim City 4 again is the stuttering.
Even on a computer that completely surpasses the requirements, it still chugs.
Talk about unoptimized...

It's okay, I used to do that too. v:v:v
Hey, Suddenly, I want to play sim city! I have 3, which I love, but I hear that 4 is better. Is it true? Which one is the best?

Hard to optimize a game like this, they already dumbed it down alot.
My biggest city I had ca. 370,00 inhabitants. In that reigon I had over 1milion residants too. Though I dont got a screenshot :/
Now I'm tempted to go play this game again. Maybe I'll actually start planning things rather than just building as I go.

I found SC4 to be the hardest of all SC games, TYVM...
...and I'm talking about performance wise... :colbert:
So guys, which sim city should I pick up? I have 3000 here, but I hear that 4 with Rush hour is better? What is it that makes it better?
Ah, thanks. I also realized I'm a dumbass and kept building towers and windmills and forgetting that I could put in pipes and power lines.
Don't forget to ditch windmills after a bit.
So guys, which sim city should I pick up? I have 3000 here, but I hear that 4 with Rush hour is better? What is it that makes it better?
Mainly the driving ability, but also because of that fact of features. Plus it's build system is a lot better from 3000 and it just seems so much more....organized. In general, the whole game is just organized.
Just wondering how is doing this possible?

If you have a Nvidia or ATI videocard you need to set to software rendering.
If you have a Nvidia or ATI videocard you need to set to software rendering.
I thought it had to be on Hardware.
I'll try that out then. Thank you!

Take control of a car and stop it on the railroad tracks?

The game has never worked on the later version of ATI and Nvidia.

I've never thought of that either :v: Gonna try it.

I think the image are showing you controlling the train, but how come the emergency teams comes to the rescue? It looks like automatic, you can see Ambulance, Police, Firetrucks and even a Helicopter or maybe they are dispatched.
It's a photoshop, but it is possible to derail trains, spray foam on toxic spills and other things
I haven't played this is months. This thread made me play SC4 again.
Only problem is, most of my roads are invisible/deleted and I don't really want to do build them all again, pic. :(
How did you pull that off
