Anyone able to recommend some visual mods, and maybe a few others? I want to make something of grandeur and I want the tools to make it.

I lost my key as well. Though I have the original SimCity4 with Rushhour. I use a keygen. I don't consider it warez, I did buy the game. But Simcity keys aren't accepted on steam, even if steam sells it.

On a different note, for some reason the Simtropolis exchange and CityJournals keep coming up with scripting errors, so I can't actually use them. That bug was there on my previous operating system a couple of years ago. What the hell?

not really...again, mods and mod managers help in that department making all this a little bit more manageable than it looks.
Okay, for some reason sim city 4 deluxe stopped working for me.
Everything was fine, but now, the game crashes when I want to open up my cities. So I made a new one.
Turns out it crashes when I want to place those things that transfer electriciy, I do not know the english word for that.
Also the simple roads that you get when placing a zone are just brown blocks.
Anyone know what to do?

Re-installed, it works now.

Use that one sa2fan said. with it, you can do a cheat called moolah that basically changes the numbers so that you can have as much money as you want.
so Moolah 23492345679
will give you $23,492,345,679 in cash(whatever money you had before will be erased)
Try doing that 1000 dollars at a time.

What matters is not the actual funding. Look at the numbers. Does the max. capacity of the building with the current funding exceed the actual number of people using that service? If yes, they shouldn't be striking. If no, then you should build another one, to satisfy the population.

You may have also hit the demand cap.
There's a demand cap for every monetary category, which you can increase by building parks and shit, making neighbor connections, or the special buildings under the "gift box" tab and such.
I'm redownloading it because of this thread.

Simple: build more schools/hospitals. A school/hospital can only handle so many patients before they become completely full.

Oh yea, once you get to needing 3 small schools, to be efficient, blow up the small schools and build a big one some where in the middle, same with hospitals

I'm a long time fan of SimCity. In fact, it's one of the first games I ever got really into. I still play SimCity 4 from time to time, but I've always played it vanilla. Can anyone recommend some mods to start out with? Most people seem to accumulate them over the course of years...
