cept that shit isn't C&C. They removed every shit that was C&C.
It's like making a third person game with emphasis on hand to hand combat instead of guns, but having all skins & guns, then calling it "Counter Strike 2"
Except in that case you would pretty much flush out all of the community (note the word flush, it's there for a reason), and it would be by far better than the other Counter Strikes.
Well I actually like what they done to C&C4, it's an original idea and I like it.
No it isn't, they've looked at tier 4 tech from Supreme Commander gone "hey look a mobile base let's copy that!" and attempted to pass it off as something original.
itt ea sucks old games are the best
In my opinion C&C Generals is the best RTS I have ever played. (And I have played a lot), along with C&C Red Alert 2
Command & Conquer to me ended at Yuri's Revenge.

Renegade was the last one released...
CnC3 was alright as a game, but it definitely raped the CnC series
Yeah, the story went downhill. Otherwise than that I think that CnC3 is a okey RTS.

Downhill?
Let me give you an example:
BEFORE: Tiberium leeched metals and other heavy minerals out of the soil, concentrating them in crystals which can be easily collected and processed. The leeching process leaves the landscape depleted, leaving the ground underneath effectively useless for agriculture.
Tiberium Wars and after: Whatever Tiberium comes in contact with, it destroys into protons and neutrons, and then using them to make more of the worthless crap it is.

You should try Company of Heroes, Relic and Gameworkshop make awesome games.

Could not agree with you more. To me Red alert Yuris revenge and anything before it was my childhood gaming, EA has wrecked such a great series. Don't get me wrong, i enjoyed generals. But this bullshit red alert 3 and command and conquer 4 needs to just stop. They are moving so far away from what the command and conquer series really is that its not even funny.

Agreed, Company of heros is a great RTS.
Hah, dawn of war did this shit long ago. Can anyone say fully awakened monolith?

Obviously it's not a fully mobile base since C&C 4 is the only game with a mobile base as EA told us so.
I can't believe anyone even expected anything from it. I mean look at how totally shit any C&C game after YR was, Tiberium wars, shit. Red alert 3, shit. I had no hope pinned on this being the quality game it used to be.
CnC3 was a mediocre RTS.
The story was a steaming pile of shit but at least they got the MP right, they nearly fucked up the MP in an RTS game somehow.
CnC3 put me off RTS's for a while, spring fixed that though.
at least they got the MP right
Scorp spam vs PAC horde.
FIGHT!
Red Alert 2 was the shit
Yuri's revenge was ok for an expansion pack
Generals was good
Red Alert 3 sucked massive faggot cock, i swear they made a mockery of the game series.
I tried it shortly after discovering Generals and Zero hour. I came to the party late, but whatever.
All I know is the old stuff got it PERFECT. When I plugged in 4, it felt like a completely different, less appealing rungun mod or something. So disappointing...
I went to the EA forums in this category, just for shits and giggles. Anyways there was a thread that had a poll of "Will you or will you not buy this game?" More than 3/4 of the polls and posts said no way. You would think that EA would give up on murdering this series already. :sigh:

I have played Company of Heroes! It's awesome, too. I'll try the others you mentioned.
