Or classic controller
Hey hey, newsflash: when you reboot a series, you can do whatever the fuck you want with it.
By your logic Batman Begins wasn't a good "batman" film because it wasn't a over the top camp borderline mardi gras action movie.
Quantum of Solace did suck ass however.
The gap between Die Another Day and Casino Royale was 4 years, for me that is not a reboot.
As the gap between License To Kill and Goldeneye was 6 years, yet they still kept the Bond formula.
With Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace they thought "Hey, these Bourne films are doing it quite good. Let's kill the gadgets and humor from the Bond franchise that everybody loves."
The two Craig movies are better than the last two Brosnan movies (much better), but why the fuck would the replace Brosnan with Craig in this?
Already ruined by using Craig as Bond.
Really? They're using Daniel Craig even though in both the original movie and the game it was Brosnan?
That alone would ruin the game for me.

i really don't get what you're saying. four years is plenty of time to reboot a franchise. you don't define a "reboot" by how long it was in production, derp. the only reason there was such a long time gap between ltk and ge was because of legal disputes. with casino royale and quantum of solace they thought "hey, those last few brosnan movies were pretty mediocre, i think it's time to try something new."
I think this is going to ruin my memories of the game.
So if it does come out I'm not even going to look at the case or the game, I want it to stay a classic.
Unfortunately, it did not end the same way for Call of Duty...

Not by a long shot.
This will be pointless just like GE:S.
It's fake. It's not that hard to realize it.

The World is Not Enough would like to have a word with you:

Die Another Day was absolute garbage but god damn The World is Not Enough was one of the best bond films in the series.
(I knew watching every single bond film would come in handy some day)
Using Craig as Bond in casino royale killed James Bond completely
He fitted Bond perfect there, the film Quantum of Solace killed it here. Bond suits a dark haired actor but Craig does well. Heck, he might be the last ever Bond if MGM liquidate.

Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough are certainly THE BEST Bond movies there are.
Hell, its fake, like I said.
How many times was he close to death(by gunshot, I know in YOLT, he was almost killed by gunshot, I know golden gun was one as well)?
Already ruined by using Craig as Bond.
Pierce Brosnan is the only bond for me... Especially in games.
I just can't picture Goldeneye without him.
It's real...

It actually looks decent... Kind of kills what Goldeneye was, though...
Bleh, Activision took it down.
But I have it, hehe.

You can watch the trailer here

WHY
I don't think the Wii is the real issue here.
Daniel Craig being in this is the issue.
I think it looks pretty true to the first game. Hopefully it won't try to be all new fangled.
What I'm getting from this, is that the reason Nintendo can do this, is because Daniel Craig is the work around. Otherwise they'd still be using Brosnan.
That actually looks pretty fun. I had my doubts at first, I'm guessing this is going to be officially revealed at Activison's press thingy.
Co-op is what's making me want the game.
Actually looks pretty nice.
Although hopefully Activision won't overprice it.
I just want a "Slappers only" and my life will be complete.
They even used the Casino Royale trailer music...
Not that I have anything against Craig, but this ain't his movie. Goldeneye belongs to Brosnan.
