Both are Very good, and both are very different.
Although I did get bored of Oblivion because of broken quests.
Also, the people on oblivion are fuck ugly, but mods fix it.
It's worth the money, but I liked Fallout better which is why I think you should buy that instead.
But of course it all depends on you. If you want to run around with swords and arrows, or run around with sniper rifles and machine guns.

There're actually mods to Oblivion for guns, and you can get swords in Fallout 3, so...
Morrowind was better than Oblivion, by the way.

The atmosphere was much better and it felt more immersive. Also Oblivion cut out many types of weapons such as throwing weapons, crossbows and spears :frown:
OP doesn't seem to be that intelligent anyways, so he might not like it.
Get oblivion, then realise that, as its old, you only had to pay about a tenner for it, and buy fallout 3 as well.
vola, two great games.
Get Oblivion, it is seriously my favorite game ever, I played it for ages and ages and that was before I discovered the endless pit of mods out there.
As for the platform PC all the way, not only are there many great mods, but the unofficial patch fixes most of the annoying glitches that would plague you on the PC version.
