I still don't get the appeal of these motion games. Everytime I've seen them demonstrated, it makes you look like some kind of fucking retard. And all this fitness stuff is laughable. They've turned fitness into a game now? Really? How hard is it to actually have motivation to start an exercise routine and stick to it? You need a fucking game to give you points for doing rudimentary and ridiculously simple exercise techniques that don't actually serve any longterm benefit for building any sort of worthwhile strength or stamina? What the FUCK is society coming to?

Motion controls will never work without an aspect of feedback. To do that you'd need to be in a suit midway into the air that detects ingame objects and restrain you from moving when coming in contact with them virtually. There would also be a mechanism to reproduce movements like falling backwards because of an explosion in a soft manner. But that shit would be big inconvenient and dangerous.

Which is why either the technology becomes more precise and advanced with the advent of the fast evolution of technology, or this will forever be gimmicky bullshit preying on the unsuspecting and uneducated consumer.

I'll say the Move at least looks ok. Still a stupid idea and I can't see myself using it but at least it's more practical and it looked pretty good when used in SOCOM 4. Even though it's such a blatant Wii rip-off.

I mean not to be a fanboy but the Move seems like it's had the most thought put into it due to it's accuracy and precision. From what has been demonstrated it is easily the most accurate and well developed technology of the three thus far. How developers implement it and what they do with it to make it worth anyone's while is another question entirely.

The Kinetic looks interesting, but i'm not so confident in it. The Ubisoft conference generally sucked, and Valve better live up to the hype it caused.

Am I the only hoping that BF BC 2 Vietnam is multiplayer only? Cause honestly, BC 2 isn't a very fun single player game.
