EVERY FUCKING BOSS FROM SONIC 2 Motherfucker won't DIE, even after I explode fucking chemical shit next to him.
Seymour Guado's final battle in FF-X. Fuck it was hard to find a decent picture because of the lack of people who have left the fight alive.
on the elder scrolls iv oblivion turn the difficulty up to full EVERYBODY IS A BOSS FIGHT! i got killed by a god damn rat and i had the best armour in the game!
Penance from Final Fantasy X. Sure, he was optional... But damn he was hard to beat. 12 million HP and 2 arms with 500,000 HP, which could he could regenerate after you destroyed them. If you left the arms alive he'd use Judgement Day which would wipe out your party. It took me a solid hour and a quarter to beat him. :(
on the elder scrolls iv oblivion turn the difficulty up to full EVERYBODY IS A BOSS FIGHT! i got killed by a god damn rat and i had the best armour in the game!
This, this is why NPC level mods are essential if you want to have fun playing Oblivion. In vanilla the scaling and the difficulty means every NPC scales up with you and every single fight is just as hard as it was when you came fresh out of the sewers. No sense of progress or improvement. Ruins it.
When it comes to parts of the game that I can't beat many times I use trainers.
Elizabeth Greene in Prototype, the big lizard thing that appears in the middle of Times Square.
Oh and this one.
The final boss in Ninja Gaiden Black. Motherfucker can knock down 70% of your health with ONE fucking move.
I had no health items through the entire fight, and was already at like 70% health when I started... shit fucking sucked.
If I think back there was ONE endboss I never defeated because he was so fucking hard. It was General Kim from True Crime. Maybe I just never tried too hard because the game wasn't that great.
He was actually pretty hard, only 2 in 10 of your punches would ever make contact, whereas his always could, he had a ridiculous amount of the exclamation marks for a enemy too, meaning that by the time you'd got at least 2 down, they would regenerate anyway. Took me forever to beat his ass, but I did it, I felt happy. The game wasn't too great, but it was fun to play around in, arresting random people. Which glitched once and instead of arresting them from behind, he swung them round to the front, and broke the guys knees instead of kicking him to the floor after cuffing him, killing the guy I arrested :ohdear: Lazarevich from Uncharted 2 is pretty annoying, he isn't hard once you figure out the way to beat him, but on Hard/ Crushing his shotgun kills you on about two shots, and the two shots he can fire are rapid as hell. You can survive on hard by running just out of the spread, but on Crushing, no way in hell you will survive the first shot properly.
I think the hardest I've ever faced would still be that stupid 9-tier boss fights during Pokemon Blue. I was NEVER experienced enough, I think I beat them ONCE.
Ughh the Elite four/ Battle tower on Ruby were a nightmare, thanks for bringing up those memories, I'll cry myself to sleep now. I only just made it out of the Elite four battle, I couldn't even get past 3 of the Battle tower ones.
The ONLY boss I've ever had trouble with in any game: Yunalesca. I was way too low leveled when I encountered her for the first time. I kept failing at her Megadeath surprise in her 3rd form. Yup, she needs to be killed 3 times in a single fight, and she gets stronger and changes shape every time. I stopped playing the game for a long long time because of her. Eventually I tried again a few hundred times and won. She isn't really that hard if you level up like you should until you encounter. And by leveling up as you should, I mean that you mustn't run from almost every random encounter.
Destroyer from Borderlands. Why is he annoying? 'cause he's too fuckin' easy. Also RAAM from Gears. He himself was easy, but all the god damn Kryll. I also got the satisfaction of proving my friend wrong. He kept saying the only way to beat him was by using the Torque Bow and the Sniper. I told him "Fuck you" and beat him with 2 grenades and a few mags from the Lancer.
the final boss from Heavenly Sword. The third stage took me at least 2 hours to beat.
The chaos lord in "The last stand" of DOW2, wave 20 always rapes me...
There was some centipede looking boss in FFX. FUCK.
The most annoying boss, which still annoys me today is Sigma from the Mega Man series, in fact, I never was able to beat a classic Japanese Mega Man game, since Sigma is so fucking hard to beat. Mega Man X4 on Playsation 1 was my first encounter with it. And I never finished the game.
The evil spider from Metroid: Fusion on the GBA. It goes downwards in a zigzag and if it touches you, it sucks yours life then slams you into the ground for tons of damage. It moves at such a non-steep angle that its path is so hard to predict. The only time you can hurt it is when it opens its mouth to shoot multiple fireballs, which doesn't give you much time. The spirit form is fucking hell

Though i did try it "the normal way" having spent about 90 hours post credits getting my party as perfect as possible, farming items that the guide said to get, and i still failed...
That random tyranid warrior from dawn of war 2 STOP DROPPING HORMOGAUNTS AND FIGHT ME YOU BABY
Also, hardcore nostalgia at some of the Omega Boost bosses. They got really difficult sometimes.
There was a trick I found to beat it easily, you roll into morphball into the left or right corner can't remember, and he will never be able to catch you, and when he charges up, strike like hell :P.

Contribution: maaan so hard to think. its usually all the old games since now I can beat any boss now that im not a little kid with bad hand-eye coordination. eeeh i would say probably ALL of the DonkeyKong64 bosses cus they all scared the shit out of me including the Jack-in-a-Box guy:
I find the last boss in Chrono Trigger for the DS and the SNES to be remarkably challenging!
Final wave in killing floor. I hate that so much because it is boring.
FUCK THIS MOTHERFUCKER
His face looks like gordon mixed with that one guy, umm fuck who was it.
Personally, I've never fought him, but the South Park studios have some experience with him...

Took me about ½ a month to beat it.
