Well the 8800 GT for me runs the game perfectly on all highest except land texture at 1920x1080, Along with a 2.66 Ghz E6750 Dual Core overclocked to 2.92 Ghz, Also 2 GB DDR2 800 mhz RAM.

And oh god i love this game so much, the camera movements when you turn your plane are awesome. The way you can shoot up the enemy so their fuel ignites and blows them up midair.

Or you can get shot up yourself and set on fire.
Does it have Zeppelins?
No, zeppelins were only seen during WW2
Holy shit this looks like a mutant son of IL2 and Men of war! (with mod). And its out too!?
No, zeppelins were only seen during WW2
Wrong.
Wrong.
Brilliant argument, fantastic evidence, you have proved me wrong I take back everything I said
Great game - sucks that you gotta pay for additional aircraft, though. :/
Great game - sucks that you gotta pay for additional aircraft, though. :/
4 Planes is almost more than enough for a game like this, also it has quite some potential for modding. I would expect extra aircraft as mods showing up soon.

Read it. Particularly the "During World War 1" section.

Yeah, I was wrong but he sucks at telling me I'm wrong
Oh wow, this actually looks promising.
Oh wow, this actually looks promising.
I haven't played it scince the week I bought it.
Only after buying did I find out that the game doesn't support hosting behind routers or something like that so the reason to play which was co-op with my friend was made pointless because of this fact.
I'm sure the game is pretty good but I just can't be arsed to play it.

If there is LAN couldn't you just use Hamachi?
If there is LAN couldn't you just use Hamachi?
Hamachi probably could work.
If there is LAN couldn't you just use Hamachi?
Think we tried but it didn't work. Hamachi seems to be pointless nowadays, before it just used to let you connect straight off but now you still have to open certain ports for certain games so it kind of defies the point in hamachi lol
ports.. what?
Those ground textures are so high res
ports.. what?
You know...each application that uses the internet has required ports for routers that allows traffic to flow in and out of your firewall?
When I first started to use hamachi, it seemed to by-pass all that and just let you see each other's computer, nowadays I still have to forward ports to let traffic through.

No you are just being a fool and can't properly use it.
Now that I have a new rig and Track Ir 5 I might look into Rise of Flight.
No you are just being a fool and can't properly use it.
Yes, I'm sure.
Explains everything.
Yes, I'm sure.

Indeed it does.
An ingame dogfight video of rise of flight.

IL2 over any WW2 flying game, no matter what.
Now WW1, this one looks pretty good.
*VIDEO*
That guy can't shoot for shit...
That guy can't shoot for shit...
Well you try it then.
Try playing with 10-15 fps with fraps running yourself.
Brilliant argument, fantastic evidence, you have proved me wrong I take back everything I said
Stop being a dick about it.
In WWI Zeppelins were quite used for bombing and reconasance. In WWII they were rarely used for bombing for the AAA has gotten better and they were slow and big targets, while everything around them was small and fast.
Zeppelins were used as bombers during World War I, without notable success. At the beginning of the conflict the German command had high hopes for the craft, as they appeared to have compelling advantages over contemporary aircraft — they were almost as fast, carried many more guns, and had a greater bomb load capacity and enormously greater range and endurance. However, their great weakness was their vulnerability to gunfire, namely incendiary ammunition.
Before incenerary ammo they were flying about like smug assholes. After Incendiary munitons were used, they got rarer and rarer.
Bumpity bump, anyone still play?
How the fuck did you find this?
