I bought the game years ago, it's brilliant :v:
Its an amazing game, I've been playing since it became f2p, and I ended up buying some planes that appealed to me (the Dr.I has since become my favourite).
I honestly thought Facepunch would already have known about this, its an amazing game. The replay system is brilliant (it works like Battlerecorder; you record a match and you can play it back as you recorded it, change camera angles, see what your opponent sees etc).
The networking is brilliant too, I'm aussie and I play on the European servers with zero issues whatsoever (because of this, I have never had to check the ping of any server).
Though most of the new players stick to low altitudes, the dogfights that result are still just as fun, but please, try to gain some air.

I picked this up on Monday in the closing hours of the Gamersgate deal for the same price, but I would really recommend it. First time I've gotten so into a flight sim since Facepunching up IL-2. :v:
OP could use a good update if we want to revive this, so damn much has come out since then as well as the new British Channel map coming soon.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that it's F2P now. You get the entire game, but only 2 planes.

there's no longer a torrent, look up the rise of flight website, or see my new updated rise of flight thread. this one is way outdated
