So far I go (3v3 so far, yet to play more than 1 match of 5v5 with him):
Boots (later Tabi or Merc), Doran's Blade x2 (sold later), Phage, Frozen Mallet, Infinity Edge, Razors > Spectral Lantern, Atmas.

Nuh-uh, no way. All that's being reset is your elo, your player ranking, because Season 2 is over and done with. A new ladder for season 3, can you dig it?

Awhile, it's been delayed to the next patch.

Was just about to get gold in our last ditch effort.
5th game of 3v3, we had won the last 4. Matchmaking puts us (~1200 elo) against a team full of people above 2000 and we get rolled :C
I can't play duo queue with most of my friends because I have incredibly rubbish elo and theirs are all higher... Just played with a friend in gold while I'm ~1000, picked Malph as jungle and we got rolled by Shyvana, she flew past me in levels, ganked every 20 seconds and got every lane fed... My friend is mainly a jungler but I got put on the spot at top so he helped me out and swapped, but when I'm told what I need to be doing I have such a hard time trying to take it all in and I just end up doing worse... For example, I went for a gank on top... Missed an ult on someone [B]standing still.[/B] I don't know how I can avoid getting myself into situations like that where I just feel I'm not even useful anymore.
If there's one thing I need to improve on to get better at this damn game [sp]there are MANY[/sp] it's knowing what to do when everything goes horrifically wrong.

Well, when I started, I had no clue what was going on, and by last night, I could pull off a few kills and a quite a few of assists in a rank 10 match with blitzcrank. So yeah, I think so.
Finally had a legit game after all those ridiculously stacked matches.
We were 2/10 at some point. Lee Sin counter jungled me hard (I was Nautilus)
But I made things happen, I took two early Dragons to keep us in the court and caught someone out to get us Baron.
I guess this is how I carry. Not with AP/AD carry, but being the leader and making plays.
So Riot Games calls the next Ninja Zed and the Ninjas have a Doctor/Hospital Theme going on and they missed the chance to make a skin based on [url=http://i2.listal.com/image/3488083/500full.jpg]this[/url] guy. Oh well, maybe in a future skin.
Renekton is a lot of fun to play. He owns in 3 vs 3.
