Does anyone know what happened with refunds on the purchases tab in the store? I refunded Jayce about a week ago and when I started a game yesterday he was in my champion selection but I still had the IP from refunding him.
Did they get rid of the refund system or something? But I guess I shouldn't complain considering I got a 6300 champ for free.

nah, the refund system just has a tendency to bork and lets you keep the champ and still get your RP/IP
for some people it goes away after you restart though
FoN is pretty much the best tank items in the game, on par with frozen heart
there is nothing broken about it

My favorite item getting remade. I hope they don't screw it up badly and I'm happy with it.
My theory is that they give all the benefits spread on different items all over the place: Some new tank item with movespeed, - with the % regen portion and - with insane Mres plus.

Funny though, I've got 40 teamworks but only 26 honorable opponents yet I got this first
i have 10 honorable opponents and 44 teamworks, even though i rarely say anything but "ggwp" at the end
league players are weird
i ain't get shit
i only talk during champ select so we can figure shit out, i coordinate with the team, call MIAs and ping a bunch, ward a bunch because I'm support and don't troll anyone
i don't think I have a lot of either teamworks or honorable opponents, maybe cuz i play exclusively support
In most games I only say GLHF and GG to the enemy team, it's what I've always done and it has gotten me 90 honourable opponent honour
i say GG and sometimes WP if it's truly a good game

helpful honour seems the hardest of all to get, i have 32 friendly and 82 teamwork but only have 11 helpful
It doesn't help that when you're trying to help someone out with their items or choices then they just go "Stfu noob i know how to play fuck u"

You’ll see some rebalancing of the existing items, but there’s also a slew of brand new items to spark your imagination and reward your ingenuity.
Xypherous will be giving some juicy, juicy details on this, but here are a few things to expect:
Underserved classes (AD Casters, for example) will get more items targeted specifically at their role
Most of your old favorites will be sticking around – we want more options, but we don’t want the item shop to be totally alien
A few items that have been challenging to elegantly balance are being removed in favor of the new options
We’re taking a look at overall gold and stat balancing
Many old items have received new upgrade paths or additional upgrade paths
Supports are getting some items to help ease the ward burden in longer games
This is the biggest change and, frankly, it’s pretty damn exciting. We’re really interested to see what people discover, and we’re confident this will help add some diversity and interesting choice to how you’ll be building your champions in the future.
Jungle: Much like we did at the start of Season 2, we’ll be featuring jungle mechanics changes for this preseason as well.
We liked a lot of the flow and feel improvements to the jungle (opened up non-safe junglers, more ganks, etc.), but there’re some things we can still improve. We had two major goals here: to add to the number of viable junglers, and to change the gank flow to ensure that the jungler isn’t the only role that defines the flow of the game during the laning phase.
Statikk will be revealing more complete details on the changes, but we believe this will have some positive effects on the metagame and improve champion viability, even in lane. We’ve even included new jungle-specific items (now there’s more than just Madred’s!)
Masteries: Another big opportunity is masteries. While we want to add variety to your mastery choices, there are also few specific areas we want to improve:
Going deep in the Utility Tree is currently underwhelming
Early flat Magic Resistance and Armor prevent people from being killed even if they get really outplayed in lane
There aren’t enough “cool” masteries
To this effect, FeralPony’s been busy taking a jackhammer to our masteries to fix these problems – all the while looking for opportunities to add more interesting things to mastery builds. He’ll be on hand later in the week to talk about the changes in-depth, and to dig into a few specific examples.
Summoner Spells: Last, and definitely not least, we’re taking a look at our summoner spells. A couple sneak peeks:
We’ve raised the cooldowns of popular summoner spells (Flash, Ignite, etc.) in lieu of nerfing their power
We’ve added a certain shielding spell from Proving Grounds, and made it so Heal is actually a support skill
We’re generally buffing some of the weaker skills up!
It’s our hope that these changes will give you more options for customizing your spells to suit your own playstyle or the needs in a given matchup while keeping the cool gameplay of the existing favorites. While I’d love to take credit for actually buffing stuff, good guy Roku is heading this up, so I’ll save the grand reveal for him.
This is an initiative we believe will add even more strategic diversity to League of Legends, and introduce new gameplay to master.
Let’s be clear: this will be an iterative process. We know that your games are going to play out differently than you’re used to and we’ll be watching like a hawk for any issues that we need to patch. If there’s something that’s really breaking your game experience, we won’t be afraid to hotfix things under extreme circumstances. Be sure to keep your feedback coming throughout the preseason, and look for more specifics on upcoming changes from Xypherous, Statikk, FeralPony, and Roku in the next few days![/quote]

I got my Cait wicked-nasty silly fed, which totally and absolutely would not have happened without my rather excellent support skillz (saved her butt about a bajillion times, and helped her snag a [I]boatload[/I] of kills), and so she carried us to victory. Thank god for those Summoner Spell changes. People will still use flash and ignite but maybe using other ones will be a bit more viable now.

On that subject, the Surge spell is really underwhelming effect from what it seems to be.
"OMG THAT GUY IS FUCKING HUGE RUN AWAY!!" > increases attackspeed by [I]whopping[/I] 35% and around 70+ AP.
It's awful aesthetic for the spell effect to be so shitty compared to the effect what it does.
Surge can be pretty good on champions like Diana and maybe Twisted Fate, but of course ignite/flash is always the better choice. Which is what I really hate about the current way summoner spells..

That happened last season too like a year ago.
Though the nerf was fucking shitty, 50-75 reduced range on some spell that blinks you away from harm's way easily. Wasn't even laughing how bad nerf it was.

There are also so few champions that benefit from attack speed and AP and it's just better to itemize for those stats.

Nasher's Tooth is basically an item version of Surge. Just with added CD reduction.
