Implying Riven isn't a hypercarry.
Riven's more fun imo, and she's harder to counter.
Riven is better for soloq IMO Irelia can dish out equal damage while being tanky and Riven needs a pure damage build + GA

Carrys can mid pretty decently, I've had some great runs as Vayne mid and Kog mid
Granted, not common at 30tier because everyone's a slave to the meta, but it's hardly impossible

No, it was #1 on Support because it lasted a long time and if the Support was competent, you could keep an eye on the jungler quite effectively.
Then it got nerfed, people started finding alternatives but people still used CV. Then the rise of Exhaust/Heal came and people stopped using CV because they would be at a lane disadvantage.
Then heal got nerfed and people realized Ignite counters Heal so people started running Ignite/Cleanse on the ADC and Exhaust on the Support.

Ya I left out that it got nerfed but people still stopped using it because exhaust was so much better in lane, as much of an advantage it is to have constant knowledge on where the jungler is it didn't help when the enemy team just fought you at bottom and you couldn't do shit because your carry got exhausted
Edit: also I'm p sure heal started getting used much later because it got buffed, and then everyone stopped using it again because they nerfed it

it's still pretty bad, at least lategame. good for sniping people who are out of range and it's ok in early game teamfights like drag fights if you can hit everyone

Called support, and then the last 10 seconds of choosing this duo yelled at me and told me to go jungle because they were going to bot together (when they said nothing about it prior to the 10 seconds and no other support was chosen.)
I'd normally grunt about it and do it, but I can't jungle. It's the only thing I can't do properly.
Not to mention I didn't have enough time to find a champ I could jungle with.
