Went into pbe played new TT as Vlad, my other 2 teamates left, and I was 1v3ing a Rengar,Elise and Singed. I could 1v2, but singed had that % damage ap item. It did so. Much. Damage. Like TONS of damage. It would kill me in seconds.(I had QSS and Abyssal Scepter. QSS mostly because I thought retardedly; "I CAN CLENSE HIS POISON FOR 1 SECOND")

I haven't played much dota 2, I used to play dota so I've been trying to play a bit of it but I'm honestly so rusty that it's like I'm new

I tried it for a good amount of time (50 hours) just to see what it's like and how it compared to LoL really. I learned quite a few things but I went back to LoL eventually.
I play Dota2 alot more than LoL nowadays, I like the mechanics and characters in there more.

What do ya think-- Zombie Brand an 1850 RP Legendary Skin? It's got all new animations, voiceovers, and particles. I'd say it's almost as good as Battlecast Cho'Gath.
Hopefully, but it does seem like an exceptionally detailed skin! They're not just filters, they're entirely new voiceovers, custom particles, brand new death animation (and spawn animation), new walk animation, cast animations, dance--everything. If it's not a legendary skin, it's certainly as good as one! Better than most, even.
Droppin' some bucks for it either way.
Pretty generous of Riot to put Maokai and Heckarim on sale so players who don't have them yet can buy them off price and get the Halloween skins.

Not exactly what I was expecting. IMO the problems with rengar are -
1. His jump from the bushes has too long a range and does too much damage. If you solo top against him you pretty much cannot go out into the lane at all because he can jump on you from the top bushes if you are more than a couple of meters from the bottom wall of the lane and tear your health bar in 2.
2. He can dissapear in the middle of combat, essentially making him impossible to kill if his ult is up. He should have to be out of combat, or not in the enemy's sight.
I don't think nerfing his Q damage and R cooldown will have a significant impact on how powerful he is.

Oracle fixes the problem with the ult from Rengar later in the game.
So I'me getting tired of jayce and want another champion, I have my eye on Riven. I would play her top and MAYBE bot, I could always learn to jungle too. Any other suggestions?

Nerfing the Q nerfs his jump/surprise damage as well. The jump basically just throws him in someone's face for an auto-attack. If it's hitting hard, that's simply because of an Empowered Q or he's super fed and crit you or something.
For the lane I like to plop down a Vision Ward in the middle of the lane when we reach the lvl6+ part, kinda like with Akali. Having vision for a little bit of time is crucial, particularly since you need to see the bugger to kill him.
As Baazul said, Oracles solves the super sneaky Rengar late-game

Ugh, Elisie's E is like Zhonyas. It's near instant and allows her to be untargetable for a short period of time.

I come from WC3, and I used to play lots of maps, some from the same kind, sort of similar to eachother.
For me DotA2 and LoL are kinda like two maps, I alternate between them because I like variety.
There is no fun in always playing a single thing, specially when you got the chance to vary a bit.

once singed gets some levels, riven can't do shit to him, and even at level 1-3, singed's poison does an assload of damage, while riven's base damages are really low

You asking who wins in a fight, or who's more fun?
In my opinion, Singed is more fun to play, but Riven's not really my style of character anyway. I prefer tanky champions with lots of utility, whereas Riven is sort of a "run in and kill everything, or die trying" type of chick.
