Hey I need some input from someone over this: I love playing alistar, but I absolutely cannot play him if I don't farm, so the question is: if I go bot with him and farm, does that make me a super noob? I would never do it in ranked or anything, but it's just a fed ali is SO fun.
You can jungle alistar, taking the ADC's farm isn't such a good idea

I've started really learning to last hit with my supports whenever the AD leaves. It's super nice to have the sudden boost of gold.

AP Yi isn't that bad of a mid. He just falls off late game.

Playing AP Yi is just begging for your team to do all the work and to play against dumb people so you can use your Q twice, maybe 3 times in a fight.
That's how it feels, but if someone can prove me wrong I'd be happy to shut up.
Q in, tank with your heal. Done. Or, Q in, bop someone with lichbane, tank heal, bop someone again, q.
Went blitz + ali bot is so lulz and fun. Very hard comp to beat haha.
I'm not sure what has been happening with me recently but the bad players have seemed to crawl out of the wood work. My last game had an Elise who randomed while we specifically asked her not to, went top although it was called, and then fed Darius 4 kills while generally being unpleasant, and then in champion select for a game I just dodged there was someone who instalocked Lee and said 'top or feed' right after someone else called top, and then when I attempted to defuse the situation and said that perhaps the other person could jungle they both turned on me for whatever reason.
Unpleasant, but at least not a super big deal.
If we're talking from a competitive scene, then AP Yi, if not Yi himself, is a completely unreliable choice because no one in tournaments is dumb enough to let Yi do well. He's a champion that is just restricted by his simple design that's most likely made with new players in mind. Just like Annie.
AP Yi is definitely fun, though. Just don't be the nuisance of playing him in ranked. Unless of course the enemy team turns out to have a really shitty comp.

Probably not the one I'm thinking of since I haven't heard of Eclypsia since Tales of the Lane and I was busy watching Lonestar instead.
Holy shit. I was just in a ranked lobby, time ticked down, time to battle! The sound plays and...
we stay in the lobby. The whole team are still in the lobby, we wait for 3 minutes. I Alt+F4, thinking it'd just take me to the loading screen. At best we're a few minutes behind them.
But no, it takes 19 minutes to log back in, by which time it was revealed that I just queue-dodged. Well played Riot.

Is AP Teemo played much in ranked? I know, he's an asshole champ and there are plenty of counters to him. However, I feel like I'm doing a lot of good for my team by shrooming the map... He's one of the few tops besides Singed that I'm actually good with.

Yes. He'll be even better in S3. He's countered top fairly easily though, so you don't want to first pick him. He also works great bottom lane, provided your other lanes are heavy in physical damage.
ap yi is a great mid counter. just go to ad late game and backdoor like mad.
