Have you tried teamfighting? Zed is pretty useless in a teamfight IMO, just guard your AD carry.
he's not that good, just focus him and he'll evaporate faster than water.

Playing with my IRL friends is frustrating, I got 22/1 on irelia while they all kept dying but the 5th guy was a fed vayne so we 2v5'd to victory. Me and vayne say the usual gg wp stuff while the 3 I just carried immediately start BMing and spamming easy.
