UNIQUE Passive - Rend: Basic attacks deal 10 bonus true damage to monsters
It's basically a pretty good item for the jungler, it's fairly cheap so it allows you to pick up a ward or some pots along with it. You don't really need to start boots anymore because everything will get +25 movement speed anyway.

Buying a dorans blade on an AD carry to start with is like a trap.
You get damaged you can either:
A. Risk life keep farming.
B. Push hard to regen health.
C. Go base.
So the other 2 real options are boots + 3 pots or Longsword + 2 pots.
At first a Long Sword + 2 pots seems like a 'meh' dea.
However, the thing you might see in season 3 is that people will run runepage that have (more)(a lot) of armor pen on it.
In the past this used to be a problem because last hitting is a bitch but now you have +10 Ad to start with to help.
For short range carries (vayne mainly) you could pick up a longsword in combination with MS quints and Masteries.
I'm just gonna start buying bottle + HP regen thingy on everyone, rushing philo right away.
(Unless they nerfed philo to shit)

I dunno, I can see Longsword + 2 pots work pretty good because Vamp Scepter now needs a Longsword to build. You get 10 Attack Damage from Longsword (iirc), so it'll help last hitting. I don't think Doran's Blade will be bought either mainly because it gives no more lifesteal anymore and you don't have gold left for potions, so you have no sustain at all.
It's going to be either boots + 3 pots or longsword + 2 pots, yeah. It's also going to be interesting what this will do to rune pages, like you said, Armor Pen might see daylight on AD carries now.

Philo stone only regens 7 HP / 5 instead of 15 HP / 5, so it's a pretty big nerf.
I'm already trying to figure out a path for my Leona in s3, and I think I'm just going to leave out any GP10 items unless I get some early on assist, then a Philo Stone might be acceptable, but a Sightstone will be so much more useful on her.

A Sightstone is pretty much a HOG. The active on it is pretty much comparable to 8gp5.
You don't need the philo on Leona so just go sightstone first.
Shurelya's is probably still gone be a strong choice so you need philo second.
If you get early kills you could actually pick up a lucky pick and maybe build it in to a Wraith Collar later.(if the item active is actually useful)

Baron buff is small purple runes with a bright purple ring beneath the player that grows and shrinks.
If you buy a triforce or frozen fist when you have a lich bane, the lich bane will work until you sell it, but the triforce/frozen fist won't work for the rest of the game (even if you sell it and rebuy it AFTER selling the lichbane) HOWEVER buying a frozen fist then selling it, then buying a lich bane will give you the lich bane proc and the frozen fist proc.
