And while I don't deny League is better than the alternative (IN MY OPINION) there were a lot of areas in which it could be made much, much better, and fixing the locked starting build of 'boots or gtfo' and giving us some choices in our gear instead of shoehorning each role into more or less the exact same build is a start, at very least, towards a better game

But they've completely changed that now with the new patch coming up, there are so much new items.
You do have to understand that they can't just throw in a couple of new items every now and then, because I'm pretty sure of it that something is going to be stupidly OP and everyone will yell how bad of a job they did on the items.

I'm afraid that no, I don't understand why it would be so terrible for them to throw in new items occasionally, when they already do the same with champions and people bitch and moan something terrible about those too, but that's hardly stopped them from doing it. It'd be the exact same sort of response but it would allow them to make the game more gradually better without being slaved to this leaps-and-bounds system where everything is introduced all at once and takes everyone completely by surprise
i really like the new spirit visage, its actually a good defensive item now

I'm just happy that there are going to be more builds then the standard BT-PD-IE on ad carry and more variations on different builds for top and mid.

Because adding items is a much longer process than you think. They can't just release an item, they have to balance it and then make more items to then counter that item. It's probably harder than releasing new champions.

I've been in queue for 1 hour and 12 minutes, maybe one day I'll be in game!
