I'm really happy. After having started League only a few weeks ago, I've gone from negative KDs, Garen charges into towers, and constantly losing, to Pantheon master race, positive KDs, and MVPs.
Why does people act as if you should Only play LoL or Dota, and that you should intentionally grief the game you don't pick.
It's dumb.

I've meet several people who fuck up on purpose because "it's not the game that i like" and ruin the match for everyone else.
Then they complain about people griefing their matches on "their game".
Hypocrites.
Because they have to justify playing that game only, and not ever show any signs of weakness to be tempted by another game that is inferior.
It's a fucking joke really, people are just dumb. Luckily it's not everyone that's like this, just most smart people tend to stay far away from such conversations.
How do I play Nid top? What to max/build/etc?

I play both but LoL feels easier, so I'm having more fun. That being said, I'm terrible with Ahri.

that site isn't that accurate don't follow it to heart
blegh the idea of counterpicking is just awful
90% of people who "Counterpick" are terrible at the counter and end up getting rolled anyway
just play someone you're good at and hold your own

Its relatively good, lets say your going top or something, you see they got an irelia. You look at who is good against irelia. olaf udyr renekton jax etc. Maybe you are a pro jax player, so you can confidently pick jax in this situation.
Obviously don't go picking someone like jax just because it says jax beats her, play someone who beats her and you are good at.
And lets say you are good at someone like gangplank and you see they have an irelia, if you picked gangplank and they had a semi decent irelia you are likely going to get rolled. So you use this to avoid those kind of situations.
The point here is don't play kat.

so I've narrowed down the list of champions I play so I can get super good with them:
hecarim, nocturne, kayle
Soraka, Soraka, Soraka.
I'm on a huge Soraka kick right now. I just love her free harass. I used to think she was so boring to play but right now I'm bored [I]not[/I] playing Soraka. A really aggressive AD carry benefits from everything she brings to the table, too!

soraka mid is so fun too
just played the most intense ranked game.
Our nexus was open and able to be backdoored for [U]20 minutes[/U], we had to freeze in the middle of a teamfight to recall just to avoid losing.
In the end, me and yorick just went up and knocked 2 nexus turrets and ended it. Epic defense gg, seriously the other team was crying because they had such a great lead

if you can get mid after theirs and they have a mid that can't shut down kat on her own, it's a pretty good choice.
even if you get ganked 100 times you're focusing the pressure of ganks off from your team, so you can kinda hope your team will carry you

hes really fun, any time i play him i just wreck mid lane. being ganked is something you never worry about. throw up turrets and kite them while stunning with your e.

Heimerdinger is actually terrifying if someone is able to play him correctly. He is a [I]brick[/I] in any lane he goes to. And late game? You'll never fight on your terms, only his and those dick-ass turrets.
If they don't have someone with long enough reach to poke your turrets? The missiles will make 'em cry.
Right now I have been rushing a Triforce on Jayce then go for BT/GA, but I am not sure what should I build for late game.
Also I am maxing my Q first and W second, is it fine?

q and e have synergy, in hammer you jump on them and knock them back for crazy free harass. In gun you gate + emp for more harass.
w is completely useless in hammer form, and barely useful in gun form.
heimer can get shut down so hard that he'll never come back into late game. He also is dependant on turrets so if someone has ranged poke and can kill them quickly, he is slightly useless.
In a teamfight he can wreck if no one takes his turret down, and relies on kiting.
Competitively there is more viable ap mids and are better in nearly every way but in normals he is fun as shit because people are stupid.
