we were winning, me and kat were carrying shit this ezreal on our team, who fed bot and was getting his ass carried, stole my jungle buffs that I needed (took my red when he had trinity and thus phage procs) was actually so irritating and such a big troll that me and kat were going to throw the game and feed just so he didn't get a win
of course, our soraka and teemo tried hard, and deserved to win, so we didn't, but god

Oh I dunno, people are just better at different things. An example would be I like to think playing Riven is really easy, along with tanks like Shen. Yet you'll ALWAYS manage to find people who can't play a Riven or any tanks for that matter, because it's just not something they're good at.

That's true, to an extent. I mean for sure they should have an idea of how everything works - that's how you build better teamwork and foundations of understanding even if you [b]never[/b] play that role. So they should definitely know how to jungle, at least in a rudimentary manner by that skill level.
Still doesn't mean it's their strongest suit however, and I totally sympathize because I still have little to no understanding on jungling. Then again I'm mostly new at level 20, so I'm sure my word means less than most others' here.
why do people go top as shen
i mean yeah hes a good laner, but if you ult bot/mid their top suddenly has free farm for the next 2-3 minutes and can potentially push down the tower
whereas if you jungle with him you can also protect teammates and now there's a top preventing the enemy from free farming there

Because late game shen can split push, enemy team is forced to send someone there, when the enemy team gets there, shen's team initiates. Shen ults, it becomes 4v5 and shen's team will 99% of the time win.
He is banned because you almost can never stop that. I had it happen to me and it was scary as shit
