For me the worst thing a Support could do is not pressure the enemy. Especially when they're an aggressive Support like Leona or Taric. I know this has been posted ages ago but it's really relevant: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSHvzZy1YZA[/media]

Soraka's Infuse is a fair bit of damage. I've 1v1'd an AD carry once with my heal to bait them into letting me kill them.

That's not true, all of her life gets chunked within a second [editline]28th November 2012[/editline] half hp is an understatement

Sona is squishier than a melee creep at lv1. Not that this is new info, just reminding.

But Sona has no real escape apart from a minimalistic speed boost which doesn't really help all that much. She does have to come relatively close to you in order to poke, just keep bush control in your lane and force her back when she wants to poke, and IF she manages to actually poke her you just punish her for that. Plus she is so mana hungry in the early levels if you go poke city on their asses.

nami will be 500 times better than sona in every way

Nami looks like the best support ever. To be honest, her Q is a stun (exactly like sona's), her w is fairly unique, but rather interesting and best used in teamfights-- could possibly steal kills if you're not careful. From what I can gather, her E is Zilean's E? And her ult seems like a great initiation and chase tool. Since I main sona, I'm frustrated by the fact that her ult is such a short range; nami better cure that.
