I've played bruiser Graves in 3s a few times and it works quite well.
I also once played played Graves in 5s like a standard ADC but with my last 2 items as Atmogs, was pretty funny watching them try to assassinate me. Haven't tried top yet because usually people I play with only follow the strict meta and don't allow fun

I did it, it wrecked ass.
Altough this was release-Graves, so he was OP anyways.
As stupid as the build was, I rushed Wmog > Wit's, then built Black cleaver and Atma's > Bloodthirster.

Sure, it could easily effect the enemy team as badly as it effects you, but there's still a great deal of luck involved.

Assuming you are as good as you claim to be, there is only 4 slots that can be filled with retards on your team and 5 that can be filled with retards on the enemy team.
So you should win 6/10 games and you should slowely gain elo.
There are a few (semi-)pro's that played to platinum without losing a single game. And before people got banned for lifting elo for other players, you could find plenty of streams of people playing from 800 to 1300 elo in a few days.
Ah, but if you're bad then there are 5 slots on the enemy team to be filled with good people and only 4 on yours, so it balances out if you're bad.

If you're bad you don't deserve to be in a higher ELO, in fact if you're playing bad in your current ELO you obviously don't deserve to be there and thus you'll drop lower.

AD yi is actually one of the worst champions in the game right now.
Yeah I was completely fucked when any of them stunned me but if none of them could stun me team fight was over in 5 seconds due to splash and I managed to get there base in 10 seconds with all towers still up. Only champion which I can actually turn a game around if were losing.
I think I prefer Poppy though but she doesn't seem to get as powerful with her autoattack.
