Runaan's Hurricane on Teemo is... amazing!
There's already guides that have new mastery set ups but I don't feel some of the masteries are worth it. Increasing your AP by 5% seems like a lot but with 500AP it's only a bonus 25AP. (Which you should probably only reach late game) and Havoc... 2% more damage. So if you deal 1000 damage you'll get a bonus 20 damage.

I recall someone here saying that every bit of damage counts but my memory is foggy. A few high elo guides recommend taking it. I think Phreak takes it in some of his videos.
Wait, is pre-season 3 started already on live servers?
I feel my AP masteries are really dumb 10/10/10 but I don't feel going further down the offensive tree is worth it (Feel free to prove me wrong though)

I guess I'll think about it. Legendary Armor (bottom of the defensive tree) gives you 5 Armor/MR if you have 100 bonus Armor/MR. But if you get Defender you get 1 Armor/MR per enemy champion that's close and it only needs one point (while Legendary Armor requires 3)

First S3 game jumped straight into the jungle with Tryndaboss, worked well in my eyes. Kept up in farm and XP, basically let me be another carry without really needing early kills.

Pretty much all champs that ran 21 points in offense will continue to run 21 in offense. There's no point in going further into defense than 9 points unless you're willing to go all in because the new defense tree has shit for 10, 11, 12 points. There could be an argument to go a little bit more in utility now since there are a lot more mid-tier options, but I don't think it'd bring as big of a return as just straight going down 21 in offense would. They even nerfed it somewhat for S3, +5% below 50%.

If you are that balls-deep, you'll probably get blown to pieces anyway

Flat is always better since it makes you less likely to implode early game, and you should be itemizing for defense late game if you really need it.

Decent boost early game that scales well into late game. The only thing I'm a little iffy on is the tenacity, and if I had to swap it out, I would go into Unyielding and Block, where the bonus damage mitigation there is going to be super nice early game when each individual health point is more valuable.

Since they put the "AD per level" on a different level of the tree you can't use it anymore to replace Havok and they nerfed Lethality and Frenzy is bad on ez (especially if you go TF -> BT you have almost no crit chance.) Havok is still bad and so is Exectioner, If the 3AD and the 6Armor pen wasn't so far down the tree i wouldn't go deep down it at all. On the other trees the armor is important and the manaregen is needed on corki and nice to have on ez.

I don't think anyone claims there is ONE AFKer/troll/whatever in their games when describing ELO hell, its basically "everyone is stupid as fuck" or something along those lines. Sure, it could easily effect the enemy team as badly as it effects you, but there's still a great deal of luck involved. There's an equal chance to get one or more people like yourself, IE good people trying to climb out of their ELO, as there is a chance of getting people who are legally mentally impaired (or should be). Its luck, and a bad string of it can easily result in an inaccurate placement in ELO.
