I am raising in Elo quite often now but not sure if I want to. I enjoy getting legendary killing spree every/every other game. :(
Also, do you get more Elo the more you win or?

I smartcast everyone and have never found a problem with smartcasting.
Then again, the longer range ults like Draven, Lux, Ashe, and Ezreal I don't play. I even like Viktor's laser with smartcasting.

I smartcast everything as well and the only skill I've come across that I would probably not smart cast is Ziggs' Bouncing Bomb, just because if you click out of range he runs to the edge of the range first.
I main Ez and I find smartcasting on his ult is great personally.
I have a hard time playing with smartcast whenever I enable it to try it.
I use smart-cast on Ryze and Cass, nobody else I've played seems to work too well with it.

Shyvana is pretty strong in the jungle now. Pantheon was 2/11 at one point.

I just stole a penta-kill from Olaf by doing this with Taric. Fizz looked like he might Playful/Trickster away, so I stun him just after an Undertow connects. Feltbadman.

Was 17/3 at one point. Mundo and Malphite were scared to engage, though, so I became our engager on top of everything.
I can't play top anymore.
Played against a Tryndamere as Rengar.
Tryndamere crit me the entire time. I couldn't even kill him when was at half health and I had full health + full fury. As soon as he hit level 6 he dived me and won. When I was at full health.
Like, I wish I was exaggerating. Jungle never helped even though I was pushed. Tryndamere managed to get tier 3 tower and inhib without anybody helping. It felt -so- bad, but we still won in the end. Same thing happened when I played Darius and Singed. I just....quit.
I'm staying support forever. ;~;
Top is the easiest lane. Just pick a champion who has either sustain or great early burst and rather than harass, you just your rotation and walk away.
Tryndamere pre-6 is piss easy. As Rengar you have tons of sustain and a ranged stun. Should've just passively farmed if he was being that big of a bitch to you.

I just use the shift smart cast way, then I don't have to turn it off and on every time.

Pick someone else.
I assume you're getting matched against him top? Darius is hardcountered by superior burst, not sustain. Especially pre-6 burst. A reliable stun that's not an ult can also ruin him. I love Irelia-ing against him.
Don't get hit with the blade and you will win vs darius
If you're doing blind pick and you just are up against a Darius, all you have to do is remember that he's an all-or-nothing champion. His rotation will cost him his ultimate, he can't disengage, pre-6 all he can do is harass and try to finish you off with a surprise ignite.
Just stay at full health and farm as best you can. If he is going balls-deep, make sure he hits as many minions as possible with his Q so you get the lane pushed your way.
