It doesn't help that new supports are so few and far between.
Can anyone help me with a solo top irelia build?
Does anyone have any real good tips for support? whereas i have an inkling of what i'm doing with adc and i can identify (most) of my mistakes, i'm never sure if i'm doing good with support, i'm allways stocked up with wards, i harass the lane, try to set up ganks, ping incase a gank might be incoming, try to get the items that will help improve our team based on what is going on. i just feel like i'm missing something.

Doublelift said it pretty well. A support is suppose to feed the ADC information (and the team if needed)
This may be looking out for dragon opportunities, analyzing which lanes need help, stuff like that.

play passively until level 3 usually
>build phage or Wits end (get both eventually) (or with all these new items you could rush BC)
>finish trinity force early
>go for BT or Warmogs
>the rest of the build is really situational... sooo yeah
Basically with irelia you need to farm so anything that will allow you to sustain...

This new referral program seems pretty cool. You can even get a new rune page when you invited 5 friends and they're level 10.

why would you build bt or warmogs on irelia
TF and wits end are 100% core
boots are either mercs if you need mres or berserkers/swiftness + zephyr
new GA is better than the old one 2500HP+ so its still a good investment on irelia
i dont think statikk shiv is as useful as ionic spark on her, id pass on it
new spirit visage is a good mres item and has great synergy with her passive (it also improves GA to 36% hp)

So Jungle Jax is officially strong as fuck with the new items, it's actually so horrible for the other team because regardless of what happens if you show up in a fight with a few active items roll your face on the keyboard and click the right targets, you're pretty much gonna win the game.

i dont know what to think of the ap jungle item (spectral wraith)
it has really good stats and all but there are very few real ap junglers that could benefit from it, i can only name nunu and fiddle, they utilise spellvamp fully (single target spells)
but neither of them dont need it because of their innate sustain
spectral wraith is also recommended on diana and amumu but both of them have a lot of aoe which doesnt work well with spellvamp

probably runic bulwark but games never seem to last long enough whether we win or lose for me to start it
