That's a dumb argument. If you have more than enough money buy something better(e.g. other AP items)
With the repeated nerfs to Deathcap, there's really no reason to stack them.
That argument is only valid if you've maxed out on items THEN have more than enough gold
Also only if you can forgo other stats like health or magic penetration
I dont think theres a single champion who can have five out of six items and find reason for another deathcap over a different item.
What else could I have gotten? Because I only needed AP for the damage, and rabadons gives the most AP.
