Which is a bad idea because the upgrades are great and offer some very nice stats, from true damage to CDR to tenacity. Wriggle's is a great item as always.
Honestly, not upgrading it on junglers is a waste.

Wow late game, maokai is so tanky... I sustained a good 15sec in a 4v1 and my team came at the right time and cleaned it up.... My ulti and Q and E put good chip on them, even with a tanky jungle build..... Wow. He synergizes very well with a competent team, but he can not carry.
