The Q level 5 slow is steroids, makes ganking so easy. I guess if you want to make sure you get the kill rather than the lane you can go E first though, and fast clear

Your E as Maokai is your fastest clear at level 1 but all it is beyond that is unreliable damage and a short cooldown mini ward, Q->W->E is the best.

Yeah I generally prioritise leveling it until it's at 3 or so, then I'll max Q since by the time I can max E, the extra damage it has is lost since I'll usually be in the jungle less.

Points in e are wasted past level 1, it's good as a one point wonder but your Q/W will make you much stronger quicker

It really depends if you spend more time ganking or in the jungle. I prefer farming since it's much more reliable.

Any of the other skins are better than Grenadier Ziggs imo. Unless that's what you're into, then go for it. What other champs do you play?
I agree with Mix. I bought the Snowdown skin for him because I don't actually have any of his other ones.
Ziggs is also terribly underplayed for what he does. He's like a Lux, only more AoE.
I bought Snow Day Ziggs because the concept is something I've been wanting for a long time. I had Grenadier Ziggs because I wanted a Ziggs' skin, and it was on sale. The following week Mad Scientist Ziggs went on sale. I was truly saddened.
