the idea of a simple, single-target, assload of damage ult appeals to me
id say muramana is for hyper-offensive ryzes and seraph is for tank ryzes
dont forget that muramana procs on autoattacks so you can cast an extra mini-overload between your combo so the reddit post isnt thought out very well

with 40% cooldown there's often only a short break between facerolling your keyboard for you to autoattack, which only costs you more mana
i say get both, though
i guess another reason for AA over manamune is that manamune is only useful to ryze in muramana form, whereas AA is useful even before it becomes seraph, so its better to get seraph later if at all
I would just build a tear as Ryze and as soon as it's filled, buy the manamune

Not sure, but the first match I played after the patch was with a Christmas Veigar. After the match I checked if I had finaly been given my Sinister Summoner Icon. I hadn't, but I had a new Baron Icon.
