Ahri's great because of her ult. Most of Zyra's damage comes not from her direct spells but her plants, which you can quickly escape from.
That being said, if she maxes her snare first and you get caught...

Also as an addition - Zyra's harass shouldn't come in the form of trying to land her spells necessarily, but with her plants. Autoattacking them is slow, and it takes mana for you to kill them with spells.
Vi looks cool and all, but her spells are just...ugh.

they had to make spectator mode (since it has a lot of elements that the replay system is going to use) and make a new launcher which'll prevent replays from breaking (like tf2's replays breaking after certain updates) and apparently they're going to have all the replays on their own servers, which atm is pretty hard to do considering the fact that they have so many people playing at once and they obv. have problems keeping servers up anyways.

At least that's how it was few months ago. Don't know if she got changed or if new items make any differences.
I don't understand where the whole "you're fucked late" came in. She poses a ridiculous threat to your AD and AP mid. Because of the way penetration works, it's much easier to deal some high damage to these squishier targets.
I suppose it's just her lack of AoE that nearly every other AP mid has, but by that mark you'd think that Akali is terrible; Westrice says differently.
Not only lack of AOE, but high CD and overall bad scaling compared to other AP carries.
You also have to be close to enemies so she's very bad in teamfights.

Laning phase I just shut down garen and transistioning into midgame I just stuck to their fed mf while building tanky. You become a support later on so I just gave my jungler as many kills as I could (lee sin). I don't think it would work with a more support-y jungler like Maokai. Pretty fun, I feel more of a piece of shit then I do playing Teemo though

Not only that but because attack speed was nerfed in S3, his Blood Boil is more valuable than ever. Build some AD on him along with a RoA and you have yourself a powerhouse.

When I go nunu top I just rush a rabaddons, after some mana regen, just to be more of a dick. Then rylai because adding more slow to the snowballs just makes you even more of an annoyance, and then banshees. Game is usually over at that point.
