To be honest, i always see these different kinds of builds for seperate melee champions, but the one build that always seems to work the best for me is just doran's, phage, hexdrinker and something of my choice after that.
why would you ever get gunblade on jax anywhere close to first when you can just get it later on and rush BOTRK and solo baron at 18 minutes
I usually get all of the hybrid items, then go defense on the rest.

because he benefits from everything on it a tremendous amount
it's easily jax's best item
I'm not a fan of rushing gunblade on Jax; I usually get a Guinsoo's and BOTRK and then get a gunblade later if I'm not in desperate need of tankiness.
On a semi-related note, how should I build Jayce now? Black Cleaver, I'm guessing.

You get an ELO rating after 10 ranked games, but your ELO win/loss amount will gradually drop from 50 per game to ~12 per game over a course of like 50 games total I think.

I do E first and then balance between Q and W
Q is [i]awesome[/i] during lategame teamfights because it refreshes fast enough to stay relevant, and can be used both to chase and escape. However, it's mostly useless in lane and in the jungle (although obviously get an early rank for ganks and escapes.)

I pretty much only played akali to level 30 and it's easily the best item to just keep racking up kills. You get so much chasing potential it doesnt even matter what your enemy does. As long as he comes in range for ulti it's a free kill.
