I put flat AP runes on Soraka and always build Morellonomicon. Sometimes I'll build Twin Shadow and Banner of Command too, since AP on her is a definite must.

Vi has a boring skillset, Zed is currently pretty weak. Hecarim is awesome and has unique builds(e.g. shurelia core item)
Out of those 3 champions, I vote for Hecarim.

i noticed a huge problem in the s3 patch
the resistances nerf was too much
1. they are more expensive and less effective to the point that you need to revolve your whole build around one type of resistance and even then youre not very tanky against that
2. black cleaver and removal of fon
those two fucking items, fon was PERFECT in every way possible, now there are no really good mres items (visage? bulwark? pleeeeeaaase) and black cleaver makes armor pretty much useless (especially combined with LW)

So I bought Hecarim. First match solotop against a fucking jayce. He kills me rather quickly as he just zones me way too hard thanks to his E and Q.
Then my teemo, who ended up dying 11 times in 20 minutes, and Fiora, the jungler, decided to gank. While they both only had 300 hp. Needless to say, Jayce got a free double kill. The next time I entered my lane, I got instakilled by jayce, doing 703 damage in 0.65 seconds...
But seriously, that teemo was so bad. He spent a fifth of the match being dead. But the worst part was that he had the most matches played. He played 992 matches and still sucked to much with such an easy champion...

You get so much shit from HP(stronger passive and W) that MR, armor, item passives, AD feel like a waste.
AD feels especially like a waste because not only his abilities don't scale with AD, but attack speed is superior in every way.
You charge up W faster(which means even more AS too) and you deal more damage with ult.
mres is nonexistant now
wits end nerfed by 10 mres
abyssal scepter nerfed by 12 mres
rip fon
and spirit visage and runic bulwark being the major mres items now is TERRIBLE since visage doesnt synergize with 90% of tanks and bulwark is for supports mainly
But they also increased the cost on Wit's end. I remember it was around 700, now it's 850.
