This is my mentality with regards to counter picks, I don't care about the match up as long as I'm better than them I know I can win.
But when you're not. You're going to regret being counter picked.
Yeah go pick sona into a blitz or taric, see how well your "lane mechanics" work out. Not picking optimally is not the problem, but being a douche about it is. You're lowering your chances of winning because fuck it I'm too good for the enemy.
Just like every single solo queue player who feeds thinks.

It does help with winning you lane, though.
I love counter picking and then crushing them in the game.
gangplank is p much the safest pick in the game right now
the base ms buff along with gp's raise morale makes him ungankable
flask + pots > philo > eleisa at level 15 makes his sustain uncounterable
its totally not worth it to harrass your lane opponent with parrley since youre so safe and the mana refund on creep kills really helps with farm
and he can get additional gold by assisting with his ult and raise morale
his utility AND damage makes him a wonderful pick now

The first 30 or so seconds is the Steel Lux skin. It's pretty rough in that video, unfinished and what not but it looks pretty good so far. I'm saving some RP for it.
I thought Riot stated that they will not be putting in Steel Region Lux because it doesn't fit the character Lux herself. The armor was way too heavy for such a fragile mage and thus misleading her playstyle towards new players or something.
Not sure if the entire skin was canceled but I'm sure they were putting some rework into it.

phoenix sucked ass. In S2 you'd take it for level 1 to clear fast and then just dump all your points in to tiger for mad damage.

Tiger feels fast with lantern, and you can be a super heavy invader with tiger stance.
tiger needs an offensive build
with phoenix you can go full tank and still deal lotsa dmg
Whatever you do, please buy the Iceborn Gauntlet. The AP may not mean a lot, but that proc.
