Are Viktor or Ziggs any good, really? I've never seen anyone play Viktor, and I rarely see anyone playing Ziggs do very well. I mainly do AP mid champions, so I hope that Riot didn't skimp out.

Viktor is rarely played because people are super biased against him for some reason. He's your standard AP carry with strengths and weaknesses and falls off a bit late game. You know, the usual.

If you're looking for an AP mid, try Kassadin.
If you're looking for a good mid, try Swain.

I've played a lot of games as fiora and I only lost lane to malphite and brazilian teemos. She's really really good in lane, hella easy to farm with thanks to her E's passive, and really annoying for the enemy; Early game you will easily buttfuck most champs thanks to the huge AD/AS boost, deny creepscore to the enemy by dashing to minions then the enemy .. Once you hit level 6 you can just towerdive all day. I dunno about you guys but I completely rape as Fiora.

She will almost never work in a ranked game.
So I've been playing Xerath again and I've been kicking ass. Is there a reason he's so underplayed? I feel like he's good against anyone mid considering he can harass without getting harassed back considering he's living artillery.

Has to not be moving in order to be the most effective. He's an amazing champ, but like Fiora, not as reliable as others.

You can send your ad carry or bruiser mid and destroy kassadin, his only ranged harass is his silence and pushing him to his tower denies him all his farm because he can't last hit under tower without wasting all of his mana
i dont think sending your ad carry mid against kassadin is such a good idea...

kassadin is fucking awesome
nothing like rift walking right to the back of the enemies lines and bursting their adc and apc in a few seconds
kassadin isn't as good as he used to be nowadays but is still viable.

It beats him, he has no free defence against it and he can't constantly silence them because they'll just trade back with autoattacks and deny him cs, he has to make the choice between harassing the ad carry or farming
If you can play kassadin and the enemy doesn't swap a lane to counter you then you'll probably do pretty well, but that doesn't stop him being countered by half the champions in the game and only being useful as a counterpick against ap casters

I personally think Skarner and Hecarim are the most fun junglers to play. Maybe not the best but certainly the most fun.

You don't build melee AD carries like you build ranged AD carries, which is something that the majority of the League community just can't get through their heads. Yi and Fiora both need at [I]least[/I] a Frozen Mallet to avoid being instantly bursted into oblivion. You can't rely on lifesteal as either character, and indeed, the whole point of them having steroids is so they can sacrifice an item slot for an item that adds survivability.
(this is also what you should be doing with ranged AD carries with steroids, but nobody does it)
I just played an incredibly good early game as Draven. I was able to pick up first blood plus 2 more kills before we even pushed their tower. Unfortunately my mid lane fed a kat on their team. It was close but I wound up getting killed A LOT and ruined what could've been a really well played game. We won but I went 11/12 :c
Was it my fault for not building Draven to be a bit more tanky? Or was it my team's fault for feeding kat?
I only ask like that cause like 8 of my deaths were kat's ult in teamfights :v:

I love playing Fiora too, even got more than one penta with her, she's just not viable for late game or for ranked play because late game any cc will fuck her hard and she won't do as much damage to people, she is for mid game only, at least imo, if it goes to late you're fucked.

Should have bought a negatron or null-magic mantle to build into ga, save your e for when kat jumps on you, if you mess up her combo you can kill her pretty easily with spinning axes
This information is mostly useless if it's a good kat though as she'll just come in after everyone else and abuse resets to shit on your whole team in which case you need someone to be ready to stun and focus her down when she comes in otherwise you lose
