I just got 2 helpfuls, a friendly, and a teamwork honor from one match Even though I was playing absolutely garbage with my mao I feel so loved
Well if the chat doesn't work, this may be a long shot, but does anybody want to play a game with me? My account name is MaroonMak if you do.
Jayce was totally worth it. I haven't got any amazing kills or anything as him, and his character is generic as balls, but he's really fun to play.
Nothing more fun than generic balls, that's what I always say.
Typical ranked team, bot gets fed despite successful ganks from me This was my first ranked game playing mid, cos it's probably my worst role (hence playing Ezreal cos he's my main as ADC)
Been playing Fiora past 2 days, lost almost every game. Switch back to Riven today and win 3 games back to back. Sad because I really like Fiora.
I bought zombie brand. No regrets.
Somebody asked me for help on building Cho'Gath, and this is the advice I gave. What do ya think?
Well I've been sucking today, haha, but I do know Cho'Gath pretty well! There are a lot of different ways to build him, and I'm still trying to find the best ways myself, but I'll break down what I've got so far for you! Runes: Magic Pen red, Armor yellow, Magic Resist per level blue, Movement Speed quints Masteries: 9/21/0 Offensive Cho'Gath Boots, potions Ninja Tabi/Merc Treads and 2 Doran's Rings Athene's Unholy Grail Rylai's Crystal Scepter (General) or Abyssal Scepter (Against AP-heavy) Frozen Heart Rabadon's Deathcap Guardian Angel Against especially tough lanes, that are forcing you to play very cautiously, you might consider this route: Defensive Cho'Gath Armor, Magic Resist, or Boots Ninja Tabi/Mercury Treads Chalice of Harmony Rod of Ages Frozen Heart (AD) or Force of Nature (AP) Upgrade Chalice of Harmony into Athene's Unholy Grail Frozen Heart or Force of Nature (depending on what was picked above) Guardian's Angel Or, just for laughs, try him as a full-tank and become stupidly difficult to kill: Full-Tank Cho'Gath (Maximum Cho'Gath!) Runes: Armor Yellow, Armor Red, Magic Resist per level Blue, Gp10 Quints or Movement Speed Quints Masteries: 0/21/9 or even 0/12/13 (with GP10 mastery and extra utility) Regen Pendant Philo Stone and Tier 1 boots Heart of Gold and Tier 2 boots Aegis of the Legion Frozen Heart Warmog's Armor Force of Nature Upgrade Heart of Gold to Randuin's Omen Trade Philo Stone for Guardian's Angel or a second Warmog's With Full-Tank you'll want to basically stand on top of your carry during teamfights. Having the biggest hitbox in the game will make it very difficult for the enemy team to actually target your carry like this, and you'll intercept all the skillshots. Use your rupture and feral scream to disrupt the enemy team, and your ult to chomp opportune targets. It's more of a troll build than anything, but it actually works, and it's quite funny to see how much damn effort it takes to bring you down! Just keep in mind that your mana regen will be total shite, so you'll have to use them pretty sparingly in the laning phase. And that about does it, I guess! I'd definitely recommend experimenting a bit, because I'm far from a master at this, and I'm still tweaking the builds myself in order to try and find what works best. Good luck!
archangels on blitz? you don't use enough anything to fill up the mana plus you like need cdr on him i know you're joking but at least make it believable :c
archangels on blitz? you don't use enough anything to fill up the mana plus you like need cdr on him i know you're joking but at least make it believable :c
I've only ever lost one game as blitzcrank (excluding ARAMs), and it was a game I didn't buy archangels :v: The insane mana barrier makes you a baiting master, mana barrier is so fucking fun. It basically doubled my effective health and enemies were really poor at judging that. Plus you can farm up stacks on your way to lane. Seriously, try it out some time - it's amazing fun. Anyway it'd actually be funny to try. Rod of Ages gives blitzcrank an effective ~1000 health due to mana barrier, and archangel gives you an effective 750. All that AP will hurt hard too, all your ROA will give ~100 AP each from your archangels passive and archangels will give a tonne on it's own.
well my build on him is usually mana stacking too but it's athenes, RoA, FH, and other various tanky items I like athenes because the mana regen is amazing and since your shield is 50% of your current mana, if you're OOM you're shieldless
Somebody asked me for help on building Cho'Gath, and this is the advice I gave. What do ya think?
I disagree with your offensive build, all you need for damage on Chogath is RoA, Rabadons and for maximum hilarity, Abyssal. Athenes is a waste on Cho as his passive pretty much negates the need for mana regeneration, and Frozen Heart + RoA is more than enough for your mana pool. I recommend: Start with boots or mana crystal RoA Merc/Tabi Frozen heart/Rabadons (Build whatever you didn't build above) Abyssal/Other 2 defensive items (GA for ultimate Godzilla action) [editline]27th October 2012[/editline] Oh and Rylais if you get off to CC or something.
lol Olaf is one of most ridiculous junglers i've played when snowballed. Lvl4 350dmg in 4 seconds. (Not including auto attacks)
Olaf with blue is the scariest thing ever.
Aww man, my first loss as blitzcrank in months (and my second loss ever). We were against a taric/draven bot lane, and although we had 2 inhibs down there was a major throw end game.
Just carried a Twisted Treeline game as Cho'Gath. Knew it'd be bad when someone insta-locked Miss Fortune with Surge. Only got worse when they fed the enemies Ez and Kat. Zero fucks were given, everyone was silenced and I ate them all and won the game.

But that's my Defensive Cho build! The key difference is that you replaced my Athene's with an Abyssal Scepter, which I think is a bit wasteful. While the mana regen on Athene's might be unecessary with the large mana pool provided by Frozen Heart and Rod of Ages, it also offers more ability power, allows you to hit your CDR cap, and still gives more than enough magic resist (all for only 300 gold more). By sacrificing Athene's for an Abyssal Scepter, you're only gaining a smidge more magic resist (negligible when combined with the Force of Nature and Guardian's Angel) and a moderate magic resist debuff, but you're losing 15% of your CDR and badly hurting your early game lane presence. As far as an offensive build goes, meaning that I'm operating as the team's primary AP damage dealer (or at least am steamrolling hard), the one I recommended hits harder, faster, and longer--It has more AP, reaches the cooldown reduction cap (when combined with masteries), and gives as much or greater mana sustain--while still not losing much in the way of durability. Although it might be wiser to switch my buy order a bit and get Rabadon's before the Rylai's/Abyssal Sceptor, depending on the scenario. That'd be a trade between early damage versus early durability. If I'm getting fed, I'd prolly take advantage o fit buy rushing that mid-game Rabadon's and saving the Rylai's/Abyssal until later in the game. [editline]27th October 2012[/editline] My point is, there are two items that I think are absolute must-haves for any Cho'Gath build: Athene's Unholy Grail, and Frozen Heart. Just these two items eliminate your mana sustain issues, give you large pool of armor and magic resist, and allow you to hit your CDR limit. Boots are a must, too, so that leaves three other items to fiddle around with. But Athene's and Frozen Heart? Core items, no doubt. They just work so well on Cho'Gath!
Bought Darius. He's pretty fun. Although I read he sucks in competitive play. Oh well, I'm still going to learn him. I'm willing to bet there is someone high elo who proves he's somewhat viable.

Also as I stated, mana is hardly an issue once you have RoA and Frozen Heart, a Athene's on top of that seems to be just overkill, and dare I say it, a waste of money. But to be fair I haven't given the Athenes a go so I'll see if it works.
I've never really tried it like that, but I'll give it a go and let you know what I think!
I've played a bit of Elise, and to me, she works best with someone like Voli up top. Her E feels a bit lackluster, and Q feels pretty powerful. I'd say her siper W is perfect, but the human one is eeh.
how to play ad casters on new tt 1) buy brutalizer 2) upgrade to the new spellvamp item 3) buy brutalizer 4) upgrade to ghostblade 5) buy brutalizer 6) win
dont rush the new item in TT 40 AD isn't all that much, you'd be better off getting a bunch of midgame items and then upgrading to pillager later on
What i've been doing on Jax lately is rushing a bilgewater and getting boots and then turning it into the new king sword. Shit is so good.
pro as heck 3v3 tip: camp the top bush, wait for them to come, bam 1v3 gank first blood gg
imo an ap cho should really include a dfg for his great burst
