imo Elise early game burst is MUCH weaker than most AP mid. %health dmg isn't that much of a threat early on.
Alistar is pretty good on TT. Decent damage and good CC. It seems like DoT tanks/bruisers are really good on TT. Singed, Amumu, Mundo etc
don't ever play any supports except for nunu in TT or AD carries for that matter [editline]28th October 2012[/editline] recommended heros for 3v3: physical: xin, darius, yorick, olaf, master yi (build him properly tanky), urgot, trondomere, AD sion (oh god this guy is op as shit in 3v3, irelia, renekton, rengar, mundo and jax and jayce (not really fully physical though) magic: rumble, swain, singed, kat (idk about this), diana, morde, fatass [editline]28th October 2012[/editline] 3v3 is all about damage and surviving the hell out of it CC becomes an afterthought, since all the bruisers just shrug it off, and if you introduce AD carries, they're useless for 20 minutes, and after that time, they basically can get instagibbed by 3 bruisers 3v3 is also about roaming and three man ganks, which AD carries can't do very well
flubadoo go apply to riot all this theorycrafting has to get you somewhere
Twisted Treeline ramping up the throws to maximum power
in TT it's actually easier to come back if you have the right picks (singed) also try to pick strong level 1 fighters so you can invade and destroy people (olaf) also stop farming and start ganking, it's disgustingly easy to gank now
Some people are really bad at Lee Sin, I just beat one as jungle on-hit kassadin successfully stealing all his reds and beating him in duels.
flubadoo go apply to riot all this theorycrafting has to get you somewhere
i have so much free time this week since it's Eid after this it's back to exams and studying! [editline]28th October 2012[/editline] also if a squishy enemy gets fed in TT, never lose hope squishy people that are fed are useless if you have any burst and if you have a squishy team, you are very prone to losing no matter what after the 25 minute mark, if the enemy team gets lucky or tanky also pick people that can switch to jungling on a whim, so if their lane gets pushed up, they can jungle and wait for a bit and you need to play more aggressive and gank a lot, that's basically how i won all my games, not through cs ok im done

http://dyrusisjesus.com/ [editline]28th October 2012[/editline] I have the feeling this is becoming a trend
Oh god there are a lot of Jax players these days. The smell of incoming nerfs are all over the place.
It's funny because I remember people saying how the new Jax was shit and would instagib in fights.
It's hard to come back when it's late game and your team decides to suicide or do stupid shit which allows the enemy to take the spider + push your base
duo queue to resolve problem your duo queue partner will have more of an impact than if it were 5s, since there's only 3 players anyways
jax has always been crazy good
jax has always been crazy good
Get one kill? Turns into a gigantic fucking snowball with spikes and is also on fire.
Ugh, went Lee Sin jungle and the person who called top decided it'd be smart to play Swain against Vlad. Ended up feeding like 0/4 and wouldn't back up my ganks. Ridiculous.
Swain shits on Vlad though
Are those footsteps that Zombie Brand leaves behind him visible for the enemy team aswell?
Probably only if he's in their view.
Probably only if he's in their view.
That's still a disadvantage, because if the enemy team is right outside your FOV, they can still see where you went because of those footsteps :v:
Alright. I don't really play much ranked, but I want the gold elo Janna skin. I just have to win a bunch of matches in a row, let's give it a shot. :( [sp]Also hey i've decided to stop lurking and post in this thread for once[/sp]
That's still a disadvantage, because if the enemy team is right outside your FOV, they can still see where you went because of those footsteps :v:
It like tracks 2-3 steps so I guess it isn't THAT much of a deal. Maybe it's a team only thing?
It's not even worth taking in account. It's like a shorter version of the blood trail Talon leaves on his enemies. No one even notices it.
That's still a disadvantage, because if the enemy team is right outside your FOV, they can still see where you went because of those footsteps :v:
from what I was aware particles only show if you have visibility of the player. if he runs into a bush, they should disappear the instant you lose vision of him. if you have vision of him, you already know which way he ran and it doesn't really give an advantage.

lmfao phr34k just got a penta then he died to wraiths
Thoughts on Elise so far: ---------WARNING: WALL OF TEXT ------- As a jungler: Decent ganks, as long as you dont fuck your rappel up, it's kinda easy to use it and then realize it didnt target anyone and you just stand 2 seconds on the spot like an idiot. Could use more sustain, though, her w - heal feels weak until you can level her "ulti" and get more spiders on the field. Other than that, she has decent clears, good single target damage with both the q's and good aoe damage with her w's and spiders. Haven't played a lot of jungle elise, anyway, so dont take this too seriously.. As an AP mid: Good. Quite good. Her Q deals some decent damage with a couple of points into it in human form, and just instagibs people in spider form. Her w in human form is a great harass, once you learn where to send it so that it targets the enemy champion and doesnt explode with the minions. Once you hit level 3 you can combo someone from 50% - 60% health to death without trouble. If you get them below that, you don't even need to land the stun, as soon as they get too close, rappel to them, ignite -w -q does the job. Pretty safe also, as you have a stun and a built-in zhonya, just like vlad. Had a match yesterday where their jungle mao decided to towerdive me. I just stunned him, rappeled to their elise, finished her off with a q, switched back to human form and killed mao. Dem plays. Late-game she is insanely good at finishing people at teamfights and just destroying people 1v1. As an AD: Haven't played her, but I feel it wouldnt work well because you have absolutely no way of disengaging a fight. Once you rappel in, you are there to kill or die. In a teamfight, this probably means dying. Have to say, though, that her healing seems to scale better with as than with ap, and that ad elise might be better than I think if her spiders have some sort of scaling with armor pen or something. Thing is, they already scale with ap. General tips: -Her spiders block skillshots. This wrecks combos like brand's a lot - Her explosive spider gives vision, will maneouver to get to the destination a bit, has an explosion range of ~gragas barrel, and seems to barely outrun someone with tier-2 boots. Oh, and it prioritizes champions. >Fun tactic: Throw your w to the enemy laner, watch them run away trying to escape it, swith to spider form and w some minions. Free hp while the enemy laner comes back from his short "Oh my gawd a spider that explodes" trip - Her rappel sometimes works weird with max-range targets. Make sure that when you use it, you will be in range of the target when the "Going up" animation ends. Sometimes I hit rappel with a target, she walks into range, uses it, and the enemy walks just out of range while she goes up, and she doesnt travel to them, just stays in place. This has costed me a few kills. Also, it doesn't break leashes, like noct's fear. You'll just come down feared. And you still get damage by DoT spells, I think. -Oh, and she eats towers. Laning against Elise: -Make sure that you can block her spider with your minions, dont run away in a straight line, it'll probably catch you. -When she uses her rappel while getting ganked, either she comes back in the same place, or is going to try and kill you, unless there's some really conveniently placed minions. Play safe, and remember that she hurts a lot when you are low hp -If she is jungling, make sure to avoid that stun. No more tips. Just avoid that stun. Please. My current build is something like ( in mid lane): boots-3 doran x 1/doran x 2 abyssal / mpen boots rylai rabaddon zhonya (5 sec invuln for the lulz) void staff I'm currently thinking about switching the mpen boots for cdr boots. Having more stuns and reducing the long-ass cooldown on the rappel would be useful, even more if cdr affects the form changing. No roa because mana aint a problem when all the spider spells are free, and you'd better get tanky when you will get in the middle of things in a teamfight. This build lacks some lane damage though, you could hurt more, but hey, I like it better. Maybe you could get rabaddon earlier. Also, gotta try lich bane. 7 lich bane procs... Pick mercury threads if their enemy team has a shitload of cc. Otherwise, just eat the damage while you are cc'd, and then rappel and make them forget about you, focus someone else. 2 seconds later, you come back and eat someone. Tl;dr: Elise stronk.
lol brand with blackfire torch 13% hp k
I don't remember, but before the Shadow Isle patch was live, on PBE the blackfire torch did % of max hp and not % of current hp right? Because I remember fighting a Singed in PBE and he bought it I died so. freaking. quickly.
Groups for OGN Winter (No foreigners, not even WE, TPA or iG): Group A: Frost, storm, LG-IM, Shield, KT Rolster A and MVP White Group B: Blaze, sword, GSG, KT Rolster B, MVP Blue and CJ entus
i just got 30 and started doing ranked and it always seems like in solo queue, my team is filled with retards, and the enemy team are the rising stars of Leagues.
