You can have additional vehicles separate from the standard vehicles. Sad part is they won't handle or move any faster than the cars of the environment they're used on, but there's the cosmetic value.
Also: I didn't make that car, it serves as a good example, though.

When I'm in the middle of racing my computer just reboots without any warning, and I hear a beep in my headphones. Weird as hell, how do I stop it happening? This game looks so goddamn ace. :(

There is MUCH more then that, you get loads of new environments, and much more building blocks, and some other stuff

Nope,just download Nations Forever, that's it, unless you want more tracks, you own avatar, customizable cars then you'll need to buy United for that.

If you want an answer other than "Get a new computer" try give a little more info. give me your specs, what exactly was going on in the race, does it occur at the same time into each race, does it happen on all maps multiplayer and single player, does it restart when you run the benchmark, have you tried turning all your settings to low? everyone of those questions you answer helps yourself in the long run. LOL.

Well I was able to play like 3 maps before it happened last time. My computer is good enough to handle it, it ran the old one flawlessly, runs HL2 flawlessly, runs Oblivion, not flawlessly but it runs it.
P4 3,2 ghz
512 mb ram
ATi RadeOn x600
I know, it has a few years on it's back. But it should still run the shit..

That's the tutorial I used. It ends up as a pixellated thing.

I've re-installed twice.
It happens either when I press a key to start, or after a couple of races.
Under the Compatibility tab try running in safe mode.

Give me a link to that car. I want to use it in trackmania sunrise and I may buy TMUF.
