Sorry, it was a pop-culture reference. That new Alice in Wonderland movie (more like Alice in Snoringland) made a big deal out of the question "Why is a raven like a writing desk?"
It was intended to be an unanswerable riddle, like "one hand clapping."
Though, the original author offered a few answers himself...
"Because it can produce a few notes, though… they are very flat; and it is nevar put with the wrong end in front!"
I love all the white knighting in the thread, "Why would you WANT to see a naked character? I for one, would NOT,"
Bullshit. You want to see a boob the same reason you want to see a guys head explode from a particularly large caliber handgun bullet: Testosterone. Manly shit. Since we can't enjoy beer and cigars through the monitor, we partake in the other manly behaviors through video games. Tits and guns.
The sad thing is, games that tried to bring sex and violence to it's natural conclusion are usually terrible.

Case in point.
If it fits, I don't see why it wouldn't be included. Perfect example, the strip clubs in GTA4. You would except naked dancers in a strip club, wouldn't you?
I can't personally vouch for games with shameless nudity and cleavage, however. I don't care if someone else enjoys it, that's their right, and the right of the developer to well... develop it.
Because people bitch about it.
You've never been to little lamplight have you? That place actively encourages child abuse. Well, at least a few of the kids do.
just reading that brought up terrible repressed memories, I downloaded a mod for THE SOLE PURPOSE OF BASHING THEIR HEADS IN WITH SLEDGEHAMMERS!
but yah, back on topic, if you want nudity go ahead and buy yourself "Saboteur"
Wait, The Lost And Damned had nudity. IT HAD A PENIS.
It had?
You mean it was removed?

You use past tense when referring to stories as they aren't current events. :eng101:
Lets hate on america. Especially when a dude from Australia posted here.

Pff, Artificial Girl 3 is where it's at.
It's all a scheeme...
If they put nudity in a game, you start "asking questions", and will want to do it irl. If you do it irl, you will know that sex is good. If you know that sex is good, you will try to get a real life and a girl and put games aside. If you put games aside, there goes their source of revenue.
It's all a scam... :downs:
So I clicked on the "this thread has pictures!" icon, and...

Lots of blame being put on America. I guess when your the top dog the haters gonna hate. So much jealousy :frogsiren:
You can blow off heads, but as soon as someone pops a nipple people freak the fuck out.
Don't forget the developers giving Lucifer's in game model a giant horse cock in Dante's Inferno.

Horse cock? Oh shit, i need to play that game.
Parents are pussies about the human body. We already learned (and saw) all this shit in health class, why is it so horrible if it's in a video game? It's what the fucking human looks like without clothes for fuck's sake!
Because American censors are prude people.
Fahrenheit had nudity and sex over here (Ireland) and was 15s.
America got a censored version, Indigo Prophecy, and that was M17
The uncut was AO
LOL at America
And yet the US is the only place where not a single game officially released has been banned... Not to mention Mass Effect, God of War, Custard's Revenge, Leisure Suit Larry, the Guy Game, Diablo 2, and a plenty of other games have nudity in them.
Not to mention Ireland banned Manhunt 2... LOL at Ireland. AO games can still be sold here so it does not count as a ban.
I want porn games :q:
google search mah boi
Good for you, but the dudes in charge don't think so. I also think that 13-year olds shouldn't be able to play GTA, just so the little bastards don't talk like a "gangsta."
"HAY NIGGAS WUTZ UP?" :smug:

more like
"HOLLA HOLLA GET DOLLA"

But in all seriousness, I can see both sides of the issue here. On the one hand, any game that contains nudity and excessive violence should only be in the hands of adults.
On the other hand, a lot of parents are idiots and don't bother to check for these things. They see that their kid wants such and such game and thinks "Well, video games are for kids, what's the worst that could happen." Then they have to explain to their 8 year old kid why it's a bad idea to chainsaw someone and beat up scantily-clad women. My girlfriend's parents bought her 7 year old brother a Medal of Honor game, for crying out loud.
This really wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for that. Parents fail to check on what THEY bought their kid, then flip the fuck out when they see tits and gore. It's ridiculous. :colbert:

The problem isn't necessarily you, especially if you have the maturity at your age to tell fantasy from reality.
The problem is the parents who fail to see the games they buy for their kids, then flip shit at developers for making them in the first place. It's idiocy that's the problem.
[editline]03:15PM[/editline]
And her brother has Aspergers. Just about everything he hears/sees is taken in to a literal context, which is why you have to be careful about what you say or do around him.
I think the major problem is that in most societies, nudity is sexualised, and sex is apparently an 18+ thing even though it's taught to 10 year olds in public schools.

Hey don't you think that's kind of important to mention when making the ludicrous statement that MoH is bad for 7 year olds?
[editline]06:44PM[/editline]
I played Doom when I was 6 and Mortal Kombat when I was 11. My brother is now following in my footsteps and playing horribly gory and violent games, yet he's one of the nicest most generous kids you'll ever meet.
Hitman 2 had a penis, but it was removed in a patch or something.

Not from the PS2.
