edit: But why do you want nudity in games anyways? I can't see any other reason that it would be necessary other than for fap-material. And you have the internet for that.
We don't want, we want to know why people baaw if devs include it.
There really are plenty of games with nudity among the M rated games, it's sex that everyone rages at. None the less, I don't care much about that. Most games don't need nudity and I don't care much for games becoming pornos.
The main reason there isn't "nudity" in games is because it is a pointless medium, people do not play a shooter for tits, nor do they do a farming sim to get fucked by horses, that's what porn is for.

I'd beg to differ. And why wouldn't you make pornographic games? I think the nature of the medium actually enhances the pornographic potential, literally thrusting you into a role where sex is had, instead of just watching other people have sex.
Eh, I'd rather have violence than nudity. It doesn't feel like I'm trying to seduce my friends into watching porn with me.
Penumbra had ingrowing penises. :ohdear: [editline]07:10PM[/editline]
No, not this kind of nudity. I wanna see naked chicks firing assault rifles at eachother while they slap eachother silly with their tits, then suddently a fucking rocketpowered steamroller just starts fucking shit up, spewing blood and guts everywhere. Then the naked chicks have a wrestling match in the blood/gut liquid goop.
boy needs therapy
I just can't understand people, why they don't allow nudity in videogames, but they do allow violence, where people blow up in pieces, blood is everywhere and flesh and bones can be seen. But if nudity is shown in videogames, everyone start arguing, why did they implement nudity in a videogame for children. This happened to Heavy Rain, a PS3 exclusive, where they announced nudity in it, but Sony said, that they must delete all sexual content in-game. I really think nudity should be allowed and too much violence and gore shouldn't be allowed. (It's fun though)
Putting sex (nudity is slightly better as a few M rated games have it but even then it's highly discouraged) in games would never work (right now at least). It would practically kill the offending game right there as it will be given an AO rating by the ESRB (or refused a rating, effectively banning the game) and since the major console makers refuse to allow AO games on their consoles, the only place you can sell it is in the PC sector. This is made even worse by the fact you can probably only buy these types of games through a seedy porn shop or online as all the stores that don't want to ruin their rep refuse to carry it (Fun Fact: Only 28 games in total (and to date) ever revived the AO rating.) This is due to those parents, politicians, and news reporters who still think video games are a CHILD'S TOY, not a media form. We still have people perceiving games are made for little Billy only and shouldn't have anything in it that could potentially "scar" him for life. Violence is "accepted" (mostly. Some people still bitch about this), because it's considered part of the boy/man stereotype (into sports and all the badass stuff) and since the videogame industry used to be mostly male dominated, it wouldn't take long until we had games depicting our fantasies of being a total badass (think Id shooters and Gears of War). Sex and nudity isn't since it's a touchy subject for most parents and don't want to expose their kids to this type of stuff until they feel they are "old enough to understand it". I'm not saying we shouldn't have nudity in games outright (It would add realism to certain sim games if used correctly.) I'm just saying we need to wait a bit (AKA until the entire public as a whole (or most of it) believe videogames are a media form.) Then nudity would become a bit more accepted as people will understand anything that's M rated means ITS FOR ADULTS ONLY and less 10 year olds will be able to play these games due to knowledgeable parents not letting them buy it resulting in far fewer complaints about nudity in any game As for sex? Forget about it. Everyone would complain, regardless of how they view games. Anyways, people play games for fun. Not for getting a good wank. That's what porn is here for. P.S: For any person that believes AO rated games should be on consoles, that move alone will kill the industry. Politicians and the general public would go into permanent bitch mode over these games. These games would also give the politicians a valid reason to ban games outright. Remember, these type of people think Mortal Kombat is absolutely appalling. If they see a AO rated game.........well.......I hope your ready for the gaming equivalent of The Holocaust.

Everyone is saying that if I want nudity, I need to watch porn. I'm asking you why people bitch about nudity in videogames, not because I want to have it so badly in it. And the reason that nudity wouldn't work in videogame is not good, because I don't think people bitch about it because it looks bad and it isn't made good. And I guess nudity is well made here in Heavy Rain: http://www.destructoid.com/tgs-09-heavy-rain-has-boobies-borrows-from-true-lies-149870.phtml But Sony started to bitch about damn virtual titties. What the hell? THEY ARE BOOBS, NOT BOOBS THAT BITE A HEAD OFF!!!
You can all come live in Sweden. The games that are released here follow Europe's restrictions, but they're used as guidelines instead. If you're trying to buy an M-rated game the shopkeep will call your parents, and ask for permission. Of course, most of the stores just don't...care, even.
Because of mothers.
What about allowing everything and let people take their own decisions on what it's good for them?. Leave us alone.
What the hell are you talking about?

what

You have got to be kidding me... I think every 8'th grader knows human anatomy. Don't they teach you that in school? And secondly, if you don't know how the "process" is being done, then there is plenty of "material" both in the internet and the video/newspaper shop.
Upon re-reading what i said. I have come to agree with you three. I'm broken =[
because video games are for children.
Soccer moms.
question: there is nudity in red light center, a mmosg ( massivly multiplayer online sex game ) which is basicly a HUGE online nightclub ( I don't play, ive just heard about it ) so why is that game allowed to be subscribed to ( you have to be over 18 though )

I don't get why Sexcetera, a show about sex, that is on well after the watershed, has to censor vaginas. It sucks ass. You can look at all the tits you want, but no vajayjay!
