It's supposed to be difficult. It never holds your hand, you have to make something of yourself. The sawn off does suck ass, but by the time you get to the garbage you'll find more suitable guns. Loot everything, and take what you need.

I saved right before the [sp]Wish Granter[/sp] (Probably doesn't deserve spoiler tags) Thinking about completely turning around and doing sidequests all over the zone, as well as finding and hunting the top 20 (or so) Stalkers on the Rankings list Anyway, the one MUST HAVE weapon is the double barrel shotgun, not the SawnOff though. That thing is a life saver

so in clear sky how the fuck do I pass the military asshole with the machine gun I need a stealth mod for this game going from LURK to this is like going from four functioning limbs to three amputated and one really small limb

Should I restart SoC from the beginning without any Audio?

Does the STEAM Verison of STALKER work with LURK? I had the disks but sold it for 5 bucks to my friend. I bought the STEAM version over the THQ pack sale. The instructions are really confusing for me. I have Steam version and use lurk, just stick the Gamedata folder you downloaded into the Stalker main Dir, Open FSGAME.LTX in notepad (Which is also in the main Dir) and the True|False line beside gamedata, change the false to true, save, play Stalker

Yeah, I use Lurk version 1.0552 I think it is, with Stalker ShoC 1.0005 which Steam automatically puts you at when you download it, Oh yeah, you should also make a shortcut on your desktop to play the game, and add '-noprefetch' at the end of the target line, I believe Lurk requires that
