Highway patrol be damned, I like GPS mounted in the middle of the windshield. The suction cup works there and you can actually see it without turning your head.

I guess I just have to wait like a year to get a new computer to play this. I can't install a second copy of Steam, and I can't think of any way to free up more space which I desperately need.

With my my new monitor at 1920x1080 and custom shaders I am getting around 20fps with my 9600GT :frown: When is the 3XX series coming out. I want a new videocard :crying:

wait fuck i forgot to ask if the mods were compatible with the steam version, oh well, I already bought it. But are the mods compatible with the Steam version?

Since Steam autopatches the game to version 1.5.10, mods that were released around v1.5.4 or so might not be fully functional. Check the readme of whatever mod you're thinking of using before downloading it.

K so I have this game on steam. I used to play it alot on my desktop. But now the graphic card is broken. Do you think somehow it could run on a netbook? I'm buying a netbook.

I'm buying a netbook.[/QUOTE] I can run it on a shitty laptop with a GeForce 8400 with 2 Gb RAM and a 2.00 Ghz processor. If a netbook can match that, you'll be able to play on static lighting pretty well.

Is it just me or does 3rd person mode not aim correctly and I have to readjust the aim in 1st person to what I'm aiming at in 3rd person(SHOC)

And yeah, the aim probably is a bit off since the game's meant to be played in first person.

So I just realised that when I first installed Clear Sky in steam I had the option for Dx10.1 (Using a 8800GT, so from memory I shouldn't have been able to) aswell as using the extra AA features, but now I can't anymore. Anyone know whats up with that? I mean I guess it was just glitching but if I could use them before why did it suddenly cut it out?
