I went straight to adding mods to Oblivion when I had that, because the vanilla was terrible

While vanilla pales in comparison, it gives you a good feel for the game and can give you a better view on what you want in a mod based on what you didn't like.

Vanilla lets you appreciate what the mod makers have done.

You complete Vanilla first so when you get a good mod like Oblivion Lost you can compare them and say "Holy shit Vanilla sucked" [editline]10:02PM[/editline] But whatever, do what you will.

I liked Vanilla. It never glitched up for me. Oddly enough, version 1.0000 was a lot more stable than version 1.0005

This must be the game with the most Mega Thread's. Must mean it's the best game around, well one of the best. But it is my Fav game so far. CoP better be awesome when it comes out in english, With no mistakes and no weird glitches.
