I would say that the Clear Sky version of the X-Ray engine is probably my favorite engine out there. The best part about it is the lighting. It looks more real and natural than the CryEngine2 and I love how everything casts dynamic shadows. If only they optimized it, it would be perfect.

The way to Pripjat is awesome! [sp]Getting lads for your squad and the right equipement was great fun, I love the team. Sadly Vanov died during a snork attack. The other managed to survive, monolith surprised me.[/sp]

Dynamic lighting doesn't show you your own shadow, but static does. Is there a mod that fixes this?

Oh god the ending of CS is hard. I'm over my weight limit because they give you two guns, and then there is no where to stop and organize my inventory. then Monolith exosuit guys keep spawning in front of me. and to top it off I crash when ever I load a quicksave, so I have to start from a autosave every time I die. Screw this I'm getting a trainer.

Oh shit, I'm actually getting bored of Call of Pripyat. Oh no! :smithicide:

I just sprinted to the bar with the Spawner mod thing on and spawned a Pesudogiant outside the entrance. Duty kicked it's arse. I tried a horde of 20 zombies and they killed the entire base :ohdear:.

While we're waiting for 1.1 to come out, what mod do you think I should use? AMK, SMP, or OL? I've used OL before and I thought it was nice, but I'd like to try something new.

My only complaint of SMP and it's really more about arsenal mod (Arsenal mod is what gives it all it's guns) is the reuse of animations for alot of guns. Makes it worse that imo, the reused animations (For M16/AK styled guns) aren't even that good. Even LURK has this problem.
