Are there any blowouts in SoC that happen during game play? I've only had one, and that was with Kruglov when we had to get the measurements.

My Stalker won't fit my resolution. I set it at 1920x1080 and after it shifts it is surrounded by black bars, on top and on sides about 2 inches in length each.

Actually, I think that's one of the only times it happens in SoC.

The performance in Clear Sky is terrible. I am getting loads of shuddering and whatnot. This isn't even when it's raining or during the sun-rays, it is just at night.

I must fight on![/QUOTE] Turn off SSAO, it rapes your FPS and has virtually no visual difference, apart from making the game slightly darker/brighter in some places. Also, what settings are you using? Using the full DX10 ultra dynamic lighting deluxe settings tends to rape your FPS since CS is badly optimized. Just using "full dynamic lighting" should be fine. You won't get DoF or wet surfaces, but you will get playable FPS.
