After shooting down the chopper, it would play a scripted sequence in which it would crash next to the drainage pipes, closing the one you came from and opening the one you couldn't get into before. This is a rough draft of what I was thinking, and of course the drainage pipes would have a sufficient length to them.

Oook, at this stage, I REALLLY need a modeler! If anyone would like to make models for this mod (Mostly making new higher quality meshes for most of the characters) or know of someone who would, please tell us!

If you haven't already (which you might have) that'd be a good way of recruiting modellers.

Could you maybe blend it together for a more natural look? Also, I feel like during the intro G-Man should be set as the focal target at all times. (also, if you need animations, I might be able to help out. I can't exactly promise Valve quality, but y'know.)

You should also try asking the mapping section about this, they know a lot about these things. Also, will there be a way to disable lens flare? It is not something natural our eyes do (though it might make sense with Gordon's glasses, I don't usually experience it like that on my glasses.) even so, sometimes lens flare makes things look a little less smooth. But I might just be nitpicking, and also everything else looks really good! Well, we ran into this weird problem where stepping into a certain section of the map, even after stripping EVERY entity, would make you crash. This was in both the Decompiled and SDK versions of the map. I was actually thinking about trying it again today, so you may hear more about it soon. As for the lensflare, I absolutely agree. I have glasses myself and I can say it defiantly does not make your vision perfect again. Though I have some extra things wrong with my eyes (visual snow :suicide:), I was thinking some lensflare and DOF would help show this. I can also say that lensflare on glasses is really just dirt on them.
Do you have plans for adding more depth to structures? One of the things that really sore my eye in HL2 is how every building has flat windows and whatnot. It would be nice if you'd add some more depth by making the building features, such as doors and windows, actual models or brushes.

The Update on the other hand is to overhaul the Mac Update that broke many aspects of Half-Life 2 and improve its lighting and HDR.

Yes, I thought of that, maybe I'm going to add it later. On idea was to make citizens look out of the currently closed doors in the apartment block, and when you pass, they shut the door, as if they're scared. Problem's that I'm not that experienced with scripted_sequences, but I'm currently working on it. Any other suggestions are welcome, help would also be appreciated ;)
