I'm pretty sure even my mom would know it would be completely retarded for Nintendo to release Zelda for anything other then a Nintendo console.
I won't sleep tonight because of this..

And maybe Bungie should do a crossover Halo/Call of Duty game with Activision and release it on the iPhone
Lay off the ganja, Willie.
Something seems wrong here.
"There are two levels of difficulty. Aonuma put it through. Miyamoto didn't want to include it.The Normal-Mode for amateurs. The Hero-Mode has no "Super Guide" included and the enemies tougher."
Super guide included? Now it sounds like the two difficulties are bought fucking separately what faggotry is this.
I'd imagine super guide is like rosalina in smg2.
Or the 'guide' thing if you died too many times in New Super Mario Bros. Wii on a specific level, which would bring out Luigi to run through the level to show you how to do things.
Personally, 'normal' mode sounds more like an easy mode, while Hero sounds like the series standard.
Sound sick, Big Link fan
YESSSSS
Sounds epic, I WILL be getting this game. Fucking love the Zelda series
Might give me a reason to keep my wii, because it doesn't sound too bad.
Zelda Wii's official title is "The Legend of Zelda". There will be no subtitle.
The game tells a story several hundred years before Ocarina of Time.It also answers the question of how the Mastersword came into being.
These parts sound like bullshit to me.
They said that TP would just be called "The Legend of Zelda" with no subtitle, but they did attach one later. So if there's anything we can learn from history...
Also, I don't think Nintendo gives a shit about Zelda storyline continuity. The Zelda "timeline" is all made up by the fans, and I don't think the developers would suddenly start giving a shit about how all the different stories connect, especially since they're rocketing head-on into casual land now.
Guys, if you click the link to the source, you can see that this really hasn't been confirmed. It's just some guy who knows a guy who knows a guy crap.
I'll wait until the news comes from E3 before I believe this.
[editline]...[/editline]
This really ticks me off how they are taking unconfirmable rumors and spreading them as truth. THERE IS NO PROOF, other than "Yeah, we talked to this guy who knows this guy who says it's so.".
This is the most reliable information in the thread

Yes, let's jump to ridiculous conclusions. :downs:
The "super-guide" presumably refers to the feature they put in NSMB Wii and SMG 2: basically, it plays the game for you. Normal mode is going to be easy, whilst Hero mode will probably be normal.
I'm remembering the 'power guides' for n64 games is all.
Well whatever it is I'm playing on hero mode motherfuckers!
Time to dust off my Wii.

Aww, I heard rumors that it was going to continue after majora's mask with the OOT link. :frown:
Ah well.
Oh god this makes me want E3 to come around even sooner so Nintendo can officially reveal the new Zelda game. Fuck, I'm never gonna make it two more days.

An newer version of a game set before the game itself.... cleaver.
Its called a prelude.
Miyamoto didn't want to include it.
Maybe they should fucking listen to him, he's managed well so far, he's the reason Nintendo is even anywhere near where it is today.
I dunno if I'm too psyched about this. Seems like these games are made with a pretty rigid formula as of late...Just look at the "innovations" they're showing off. Dungeons without bosses? (That sounded almost sarcastic at first.) Extensive use of the Wii's terrible, terrible motion controls. I'm plugging my ears on this one if they even mention a boomerang. Also OP has a pretty backwards definition of "confirmed". Just read the linked site.

Ahaha. Get a load of this.
Really? A difficulty above stupid is a bad idea?
No.
I wish they would make a futuristic Zelda like the April Fools joke a few years back. I'm getting tired of the same old world.

Or maybe stupid shouldn't be a difficulty in the first place, maybe it should just be normal with a bonus hard mode, but that's beside the point. If they just start shoveling in bullshit, ignoring the people who made the series so fucking great in the first place, worse shit may happen.

Hey, people complained when they learned that Link would be a train conductor in Spirit Tracks; making Zelda futuristic would probably earn the hate of thousands of players around the world.

I know, it'd be terrible if we didn't play the same game over again for the 15th time.
Why can't they just have the same formula? 8 dungeons, boss at end, 1 weapon to find in each dungeon and the final boss :sigh:

Its all nice, but the same formula has just gotten so damn old.
Sounds pretty cool I guess.
